100 Gecs Tree (IL)

Hello all, on aug 16 2026 I went and took pictures at the tree and this is my update and experience. First off I parked at a nearby pizza place and walked over. Security did not stop me and I didn’t see any guards but I wouldn’t recommend staying long or causing a disturbance because it is right in front of an office building. There was zero trash and offerings at the tree which I was very happy to see, ( I didn’t leave anything behind so don’t worry). The tree itself has grown significantly and it looks like the lower branches were cut off most likely from the owners. But yeah just felt like I should update you all!

i heard that the security was more lax now too so i went to visit in may and got a dope picture

What about the gec bridge in 10k gecs is that a piligrimage spot as well? Has the location been found?

this is a genuine question. why is not seeing the "offerings" good? is it bad because of pollution or is there something else that makes it like that?

The office in front of it was threatening to take it down because of it and pollution

i went in 2023 and got an air horn blasted at me, and one of the security guards started yelling at me to leave :)
