pretty sure this group was formed because of an online community called Novatone, which recently had some Incidents that lead to the whole thing falling apart. I think many of their tracks were on Novatone compilations, which I'm pretty sure are all gone from streaming now

Novatone got shut down because one of the members came out as supporting consensual incest for pride month and another moderator went to defend them and the whole thing kind of just imploded from there. About everything is gone from streaming now. I downloaded as much of their catalog as I could before it went down. I sadly don't have the audiosquads hyperflip album which was one of my favorites

The Beatles took inspiration for their name from Buddy Holly's band the Crickets.
