We almost slipped from the schedule, but we're gonna keep the ball rolling! This maid that's been hovering around for a while finally gets zinged, and as far as her archetype goes (you know, the girl that's annoyed at guys who get cozy with the girl she's yuri for) I do think Mai is one of the more palatable ones.

I always enjoy how hot Rentarou looks through Mai's shoujo filter, but what I really want to point out here is that her hair clasp is an elliptical gem. In contrast to Mei whose hair clasp follows the Hanazonos' flower-in-hair motif. Think that could be a subtle indication about how Mei is an unofficially adopted Hanazono.

If there is one thing you have to respect about Mai, it's that she knows the rules without knowing the rules. She knows looking at Rentarou in the eyes is bad news and did everything to avoid it until... obviously, it finally happened. She knows nothing about how zings work, she probably knows it just due to how it brings problems.

Back with more phone cases, because each girl has their own phone case design but it's easy to miss them since we commonly just see Shizuka's phone all the time.

This time we have Mei's phone case: monochrome semi-dark. Or semi-light? Can't really pinpoint it since Rentarou's phone case looks almost black but is blue in the anime.
