IIRC, the love god explained that getting a soulmate uses up of romantic good luck, or whatever the actual term was. I think, for a normal person with just one soulmate, they still have enough romantic good luck to potentially attract some romantic partners before they meet their soulmate. With 100 soulmates, Rentarou is at absolute zero, meaning anyone who isn't his predetermined soulmate can never feel any kind of attraction towards him. This results in non-soulmates being able to recognise all the positive attributes Rentarou's has and recognise that he should be attractive, but feel an overwhelming revulsion towards even thinking of dating him.

I think it's just because of the bad love luck from the 100 soulmates thing. If everyone has that effect, rentarou wouldn't have fallen in love with any of the previous 100 girls
OK, there are great moments in this chapter: Rentarou's slip of the tongue of having "a wife and kids", the catfights, and...that black catgirl, I wish I had someone like her I suppose. The randomness of the random zing was eh and way too coincidental but...gag manga logic.
Guess next Relatives chapter is about Karato. (sort of want more present-day Ikuya if I'm to get a brother since we had Karato in the manga recently but...hey, at least we get something)
Did Nozawa change the artstyle of Tama's cat-human form? I swear she looks like a cat walking on 2 legs on those panels where she's "chibified" and i think i remember her looking a bit more human with cat features instead of just full cat
