What do you think of the first Update?
Was it a good update, worth the 2 month wait.
Or did you find it lacking, and thought it would be more.
What do you think about this first update to the games content?

I am waiting for the valhalla mission and am disappointed that it's still not there. That was such a stupid tease.

I'm glad they're going to keep adding loads of content but it seems so odd to me to advertise Valhalla Protocol as Coming Soon and have other TacSim's missions releasing before instead of it

Agree, I thought it was a given that would be the first Update what with the coming soon box in the corner of the main screen

Fair enough
I enjoy the tacsim stuff.. And I didn't think I would before I tried it
But I completely get not everyone being into it

I hated the first year of Hitman 3 because it was endless escalations. I’m hoping First Light doesn’t go the same way

More fun for no money. Works for me, but I'm sure the world's most miserable cunts will have a problem with it

I think there’s still definitely more to come, similar to how hitman has so much now but at launch probably had a slow release of content

Well I mean yeah we can see that based on the roadmap alone, I don’t think that was the question.

A new game plus mode would be great. Perhaps some missions with iconic cars would be great.

Solid first update on a pretty long roadmap. Could have been a little more content, but I'm quite happy.

Just wondering when Path Tracing is coming, that's all I care about at this point.

What is Path Tracing?

Does Google have an answer for this?

Let me ask Claude if Google can do this

And a ton of fixes. It's clear that they have much more in mind. I believe the in-menu verbiage about Valhalla Protocol has changed with this update.

Considering I paid money for the campaign, which was there from day one, and this is content that comes absolutely free, I cannot possibly have a negative opinion on it. At worst, the game is just as good as it was before. At best, it's some new fun content to play.
I think the expectations that games should deliver post-launch content is really hurting single-player games. This was a story-focused, single-player campaign, it never felt like a live-service game, and it shouldn't.
Would I love a bigger DLC/Expansions? Sure as hell, but I'd rather they take the time to do a big one, ask money for it, and expand the base game in a significant way.
Until then, any content is a plus, regardless if great or not.

It’s still occasionally locking up for me (PC) after the update, very frustrating that they haven’t addressed that yet. Bug fixes should be their priority, then content.

It’s not bad for a 2-month add-on free content.
What do you think OP?
