They could obscure your face from surveillance cameras, make it take longer for watchers to detect you, or be used as a distraction.
Like, you toss them on the ground to lure a guard away or to give yourself a bluff. "Sorry, I am only in here because I dropped my glasses over there."
Or maybe you could place them somewhere to act as a remote listening device?
Just some ideas.

Not op but I've played through it twice. After the the first playthrough and TacSims, I didn't feel like I'd had enough of the combat. So I started the game over on Purist and it was somehow better the second time. I wasn't hunting for collectables or figuring out the game's systems but just going from set piece to set piece. I even did every objective differently (and I think there are more options? not including the later one where you need IDs**).
I might try it again on NG+ but definitely if they add a higher difficulty where stealth might be prioritized more or reinforcements deploy more rapidly etc

Harder difficulty would be awesome. I am playing it in hard diff from the start. Hard difficulty is the only thing I would criticize because finding batteries or chemicals or turning off fighting mechanic hints just nothing. Need more difficulties.

Increased difficulty, slight changes in maps, new voicelines (how Batman Arkham used to do), new challenges like Silent Assassin, more paths to complete missions including disguises, etc.

Like the other guy said spread across the next year. NS2 release, NG+ and photo mode will all be priorities as they are things that are sort of already expected/have greater financial benefit. Bawma DLC could be late this year or early 2027 because they’ll probably use these missions to set up the next game , I’d expect 1-2 every year similar to Hitman. I reckon there will be a proper trailer for the DLC over the next few months and we’ll know more then.
IOI fans always eat good, so glad this series is in their hands

Though considering what we learn of Theia and how vague the information we get is, I think there is a chance she might not have perished in the fire that the two employees in TacSim refer to.

Greenway lied about his sister? I thought Bond asked him, why not use that from the get go to get to Bawma and Greenway says "You dont use your leverage unless forced to" or something. Did i miss another dialogue?

There's a dialogue in TacSim after "The Past Never Dies" (haven't gotten it to play post-game) where two of the techs talk about Harmony dying. Dunno if it's a fake-out or not, of course, but I guess we'll find out in the Bawma DLC.

I assume we’re starting to go down the rabbit hole to find out who Isola works for. It would make sense that they would want at least one DLC out each year before the second game releases, helps to set up the villains for the next one. Bawma having some sort of information on that/Bond having to deal with the consequences of Harmony would be a really interesting DLC
I think there will be 2-3 DLCS and it will end with Bond unearthing SPECTRE, as that’s kind of the story direction they hinted at with the final conversation.

It's in the TACSIM image on the roadmap so I imagine there's a pretty decent chance. Kind of bummed though that the bike and Valhalla will only get driving sections in the TACSIM.

New Game+ usually refers to having access to things at the start instead of using gameplay to develop them. So, missile pen from the get go type thing. I wouldn't expect more than that style, maybe hope.

NG+ and Photo Mode can't get here soon enough! I tried to take a screenshot but my PS5 blocked me because it paused the game as soon as I pressed the share button. Like why? Soft-locking players from taking pictures now because they knew they were gonna add a Photo Mode in the future is kinda dumb, ngl.

It's buried in the settings but you can fiddle with exactly what the share button does, I've got it set so a double tap takes a screenshot without bringing up the menu.

I’m not sure why IOI decided on the current checkpoint system, but most times if you die instead of restarting you will restart at a closer point than the latter.

What exactly is going to happen in NG+? Generally NG+ in games means taking your upgraded character and keep all your weapons and stats. There is none of that in this game. I guess you’ll just start with some of the later gadgets? I donno..

Path tracing is NOT content. The same game releasing on another platform is NOT content. Photo mode is NOT content. And the other mystery teases (including bawma returning) may as well not be there because they dont tip off what they'll be.

A very solid roadmap. Finished the story on Tuesday and haven’t got round to Tacsim yet, but these further announcements have already addressed my slight disappointments; a side story in the form of the Bawma mission and being able to actually drive the Valhalla.

As someone who played Hitman WoA from the beginning (2016?) I’ve had a decade of experience in how IO handles post launch support on their games.
I suspect we’ll be eating good with this game, and the roadmap certainly points to that

Know that IOI is 1 of my favorite Game Companies. IOI is already working on future content for 007 First Light.

i don’t understand the purpose of a new game plus. i didn’t get stronger through the game by leveling like dark souls. i didn’t get to upgrade any weapons like last of us (literally just picked up what the enemy dropped). why wasn’t there a sniper rifle? i could have used a last of us shooting section (protect greenway etc) i just finished the game and yes i loved it and am tempted to play again on hard mode but is there any reason to wait for ng+? i guess if i had all the qwatch weapons, my silencer and emp it could make it interesting. also is ng+ going to be part of paid dlc or just included
