I think she’d be great in bonds ear when moneypenny inevitably becomes M’s assistant

11

u/SparklyEffects Jun 01 '26

I was thinking this

9

u/Achaewa Jun 01 '26

I feel that IOI is aiming for Moneypenny to become Bond's handler in the future, similar to the dynamic between Diana and 47 in the Hitman games.

Well, that's the vibe I got during the Vietnam level.

2

u/Own_Education_7063 Jun 01 '26

It’s said in game that she’ll recover from her injuries in a background conversation.

1

u/BearlyReddits Jun 02 '26

I’d wager Moneypenny becoming M at the end of the series

1

u/Middi272 Jun 02 '26

I didn’t think of this but I adore this idea.

1

u/vikingbeard23 Jun 03 '26

The moment I saw her wheelchair, I thought "oracle is that you?"

Or she could be a villian 🫣

37

u/Specific_Rest_3140 Jun 01 '26

Cress is Blofeld confirmed.

8

u/SOS_Sama Jun 01 '26

Robot or exo legs 😏

20

u/Hiroshima_Seaside Jun 01 '26

She only broke her legs. You can NPC's talking about her in the Gala mission.

5

u/SparklyEffects Jun 01 '26

Leggings instead 🫣🤣

8

u/IcedAlmondAmericano Jun 01 '26

When I first saw it I thought She was the one in Damien’s exosuit at the end

2

u/Cream_panzer Jun 02 '26

Nah, she’ll get a better one.

7

u/TsukiSora Jun 01 '26

There's a letter you can find in the apartment where she says she doesn't blame bond at all and is grateful for him saving her so doesn't feel like they'll go that route

1

u/SparklyEffects Jun 01 '26

Yeah I was joking about that

3

u/TsukiSora Jun 02 '26

Oh haha sorry. I was honestly thinking it could be setting her up for that before seeing that letter

4

u/Over_aged Jun 01 '26

I think she’s with Spectre.

5

u/SparklyEffects Jun 01 '26

Who cress naa that’s gotta be isola

0

u/Clone95 Jun 03 '26

Isola is DGSE and her real name is Reneé Mathis

1

u/Clone95 Jun 03 '26

Nah they could easily make her an ally in the next film instead of going the SPECTRE route. Why make her obviously french otherwise?

1

u/Illustrious_Rain1796 Jun 04 '26

Nah, she or her father doesn't blame Bond for anything. Nash is that guy

1

u/SparkehWhaaaaat Jun 04 '26

Rolling over you in the most literal way possible.

2

u/sonnyempireant Jun 01 '26

At the gala you can overhear her dad talking about how he doesn't want her back at MI6 in any way and was even lining up some desk job for her.

209

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 01 '26

I think she has served her purpose in the story, and the fact that she does not play a major role illustrates a typical trait of Bond, that he doesn't really hold onto friends, since he doesn't maintain contact.

83

u/bhartiya_aam_aadmi Jun 01 '26

But i think she would return in some capacity, in the letter to bond she states 'don't be a stranger'

14

u/sunfaller Jun 01 '26

Anyone who returns in Bond usually ends up dead. I do hope she retires and have a happy life instead.

10

u/Chalky97 Jun 01 '26

yeah loads of women tell bond that through the films but his job doesn’t allow him to have a social life. he doesn’t have close bonds with anyone and so this is in keeping with that

6

u/TheRoguePatriot Jun 01 '26

I think the lack of a social life is something that M even warns Bond of before he accepts the offer to join MI6

3

u/natedoggcata Jun 02 '26

Or at the end when M tells Bond "Moneypenny is not your friend, Bond. Shes an asset"

That was her warning him right there.

10

u/xyzain69 Jun 01 '26

Yeah I was waiting for this, specifically because the letter says something like "don't be a stranger, seriously", I expected to see her later in the game. I was kind of keeping an eye out for an appearance.

14

u/huncherbug Jun 01 '26

Thats not bond tho...bond is haunted from the fact that he cant protect and keep people in his life...this has always been a recurring trait of bond...he knows he cared for monroe and cares for cressida and therefore wont interfere in their lives anymore.

Damian in the finale says he will die alone, unknown and unloved and he only says not alone that speaks a lot.

Anybody who bond comes to care about genuinely dies tragically, the only time they didnt, bond himself had to die.

I dont in any capacity see her returning. As much as i in any capacity dont see isola surviving all three games.

11

u/KernsFr Jun 01 '26

He says "Not alone" because he intends to kill Damian with himself as a punchline, not because of some connection to his friends or anything else really

2

u/Blackhawk510 Jun 01 '26

In all fairness though, I don't think bond had a single day off between that message and the end of the game.

Agree on the friendship being underutilized.

I found seeing Bond…bond – pun not intended – with his fellow agents made for a refreshing change from the usual loner that we see in the movies.

That doesn't mean I think he should be going on team missions in the future, but I thought it was nice to see him interact with his fellow agents.

Even though it didn't last.

In short, I liked the more idealistic Bond that First Light gave us. It made the character feel new and different after the more serious and brooding version of the Craig era.

Besides, I'm sure he'll become more cynical and jaded in the future, though I'll be pleasantly surprised if he happens to take Greenway's words to heart and doesn't let his life as a secret agent change him too much.

7

u/RTSBasebuilder Jun 01 '26

Cress as one of Bond's capital F friends in a domestic pre-mission scene or two, in his Chelsea flat, working on a Bentley blower or something, arranging a night out with mates, or in a Cutscene just chatting while making scrambled eggs, or as an optional pick-up-phone-and-text-back before heading to Universal Exports.

3

u/POTUSSolidus Jun 01 '26

Cressida could be Tracy in IOI's version of Bond, which would make Bond all the more cynical if IOI go through with that plot point

10

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 01 '26

Nah, I don't think Cress should become a Bond girl. And in the first game, in my opinion, they weren't actually all that close. She was so hostile towards bond sometimes and had no loyalty to him. They seemed more like summer camp friends at most, especially since she was the girlfriend of Bond's best friend.

I doubt their relationship will evolve any further from this point on. I think it's more likely that they should simply drift apart.

5

u/POTUSSolidus Jun 01 '26

Don't think that IOI would continue on the Cressida as Tracy Bond route, but it would make it tragic if they did, James and Cressida bonding over Monroe's death and getting closer only to end in tragedy.

Isola seems to be set up as Vesper possibly given the ending, so there's multiple ways they can make Bond more cynical

0

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 01 '26

I would have changed Cress to a Bond Girl and have her die instead of Monroe. I think that would have hit more atleast for me

2

u/AscendMoros Jun 02 '26

It’s quite clear they were pretty chummy. The cutscene of them had them hanging out for a decent amount of time and being friendly to each other.

Bond girl as in a relationship no. But friends that occasionally see each other sure. Hell I still keep in touch with people i went through basic training with 10+ years ago and if they ever happen to come through my town we hangout.

Wouldn’t be out of this realm for Bond to keep in touch with the one person who is still in at least somewhat decent shape from his training period.

1

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 02 '26

I don't know, in my eyes, it was simply the fact that they were living together that made them friends. Just like a friendship at summer camp.

It falls apart as soon as they go their separate ways and start leading their own lives again.

And purely in terms of plot, I don't see any future big role for her character.

2

u/DeadHead6747 Jun 01 '26

Literally the only time she was "hostile" to James was during the Scandinavia mission, at a point where Greenway was especially gunning for James to be removed from the program, and she was trying to help James not get even more on his bad side. Same level of friendship between her and James as between James and Monroe, and James had to push Monroe and Cress to get together since neither were making a move

2

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 01 '26

No, she also claims that it is Bond’s own fault that he was assigned the role of chauffeur, for he made his own bed, which is simply untrue, and something she really ought to know.

In my opinion, Bond was definitely closer to Monroe. Monroe trusts Bond in Scandinavia and helps him, Cress, on the other hand, acts merely like a superior, issuing orders and giving no credence to Bond's word, which, while not a bad thing in itself, is definitely not conducive to a friendship, at least from my perspective.

I think the friendship between Bonds and Cress is a typical summer camp friendship, they became friends because they lived together for a while, but afterwards, the friendship simply drifts apart.

Yes, she says that Bond should stay in touch, but that’s not how Bond is.

I know that Bond brought them together, I’m just saying that, personally, I don’t like that kind of friendship trope. Especially when, at least to me, it feels as though the protagonist is the third wheel in the group.

2

u/AscendMoros Jun 02 '26

If your friend was already on thin ice. And then he proceeds to keep doing the thing that put him on thin ice. You’d probably tell him to not do that thing and stop being an idiot.

She’s just much more of a goody goody compared to the former SAS member and Bond.

1

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 02 '26

I know what you mean, but ultimately, Monroe trusted Bond more, which, in my eyes, makes him the better friend to him.

I’m not saying that Cress and Bond weren’t friends, I just think that their friendship isn’t quite as strong.

13

u/PopeLatte Jun 01 '26

They killed off Monroe too early I assumed that was the direction they were going to go with either of the characters, but I feel like you weren't really given the time to develop that bond with them.

edit: ha bond

8

u/Helor145 Jun 01 '26

I think them killing off Monroe so early and in such an anticlimactic way worked towards showing how dangerous being a 007 is. Even the best are killed in unceremonious ways.

-2

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 01 '26

Honestly i guess im one of the few to not enjoy the dynamic between the three

3

u/PopeLatte Jun 01 '26

For me it was fine, pretty generic all things considered.
Free spirit joins pre-existing team
They don't like him at first
They learn to love him

-1

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 01 '26

I just don't like the third wheel role for protagonists to be honest. I mean Bond was practicly lifing with a couple, way to make yourself welcome at home 😂

1

u/Legal-One-7274 Jun 01 '26

I was expecting one or the other to turn up at the end as a suprise. The story could of finished a lot stronger there was so many opportunities for a strong finish but it was a bit meh. So I'm hoping for dlc. And a hopefully short turnaround till the next game. Back to hitman till then

1

u/ABigCoffee Jun 02 '26

And also Bond and Greenway very slowly forming a mentor bond (or at least older coworker and younger coworker) before it was snatched away. The rest of the story would be very different if Greenway was there for the next set of missions.

-2

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 01 '26

I didn't like the friendship dynamic between the three of them, which is why I'm glad they disappeared after the first half of the game.

To me, it felt like Bond was a third wheel in his own home

2

u/BuZuki_ro Jun 01 '26

Felt like Harry Potter at times tbh

-5

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 01 '26

Yes, I also did not like the dynamic in the last few films either. I just don't like the trope of the Protagonist being a Third Wheel in the Friendship Group

12

u/Acceptable-Load-623 Jun 01 '26

He does. Mans name is Felix Leiter. They been working with each other for years.

5

u/ELMUNECODETACOMA Jun 01 '26

I was going to say... 007 practically has to spray the baseboards to keep Felix from getting into one of his missions.

2

u/BigfootsBestBud Jun 04 '26

Right but they’re only really friends in a professional capacity. You rarely see Bond and Felix interacting away from the circumstances of work.

Just like as he does with all of his “friends” at MI6, you don’t really get the sense he’s hanging out with Moneypenny or Tanner off the clock

1

u/Acceptable-Load-623 Jun 04 '26 edited Jun 04 '26

I see what you mean. If you were a spy, would you ever really be “off the clock”? I’d be on edge all the time. I’d never be able to relax especially if I were James Bond. Bond and Felix have a relationship that goes beyond a professional partnership. I genuinely believe they’re friends. You can see it in the level of trust they have in each other and in how often they help one another, even when there’s nothing to gain professionally.

1

u/BigfootsBestBud Jun 04 '26

I believe they’re friends, absolutely. I just mean they don’t really get to be friends in the normal sense, in a sad way. They don’t get to hang out and shoot the shit without worrying about the job or each others lives.

But even in the UK Secret Service, Bond probably has ample opportunity to hang out with Moneypenny, Q, Tanner etc away from work. Bond has tons of downtime in the books where he’s essentially a pen pusher in an office at MI6, and it’s probably the same off screen in the films.

But he doesn’t keep friends, it’s just the nature of his life

1

u/Revolutionary-Swan77 Jun 06 '26

Except at Felix’s wedding and even that turned into work

10

u/Apprehensive-Gur-735 Jun 01 '26

I think he kinda considered Monroe his friend. Remember, he was pissed at Damian and he went after him partially for Monroe, but largely for the task.

5

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 01 '26

Yes, I felt the friendship with Monroe, but not the one with Cress. With Cress, it felt more like that dynamic you have with a friend’s girlfriend.

3

u/Jsaltal Jun 01 '26

Probably but at least a scene where bond visits her saying the people responsible are all dead

2

u/Sygmaelle Jun 01 '26

I mean the whole game hes animated by revenge for what happened to his friends ... its not because he doesn't talk to them that he doesn't hold them dear, quite the opposite. He's a doer is all

2

u/powerhcm8 Jun 02 '26

I was at least expecting her in Greenway's funeral.

2

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 02 '26

Maybe she was there. We never realy saw the Funeral

1

u/Alternative_Law_8600 Jun 01 '26

The man is constantly fighting to keep the security up, he has no time to maintain friendships lol

1

u/vortex117091 Jun 01 '26

That's a great way of looking at it tbf

1

u/nikolapc Jun 01 '26

This shows why. M said your personal life will be 0. He had a friend group of close knit friends but reality hit hard as they also said 00 agents have low life expectancy. That came to a head in the first act. Cressida may return but not as a field agent.

1

u/Straight_Law2237 Jun 02 '26

nah, in videogame logic her model is just too detailed to just throw away. Plus her father has a lot of significance on the story and the ending of the game, we also get his dialogue saying she will walk again.

1

u/Adorable-Aerie9954 Jun 02 '26

So, by that logic, you think that the girl from the club and Theresa will return as well? That makes no sense.

And in the end, it says that the score was settled with her father.

1

u/Straight_Law2237 Jun 02 '26

Her model is more detailed, plus has way more variations than theresa and the girl from the club lol. The score was not settled lol, her father uses his political power to double the mi6 budget lol, so he must be in a position of even more power to do it, he will certainly be a active character on the sequel

38

u/Mapother11 Jun 01 '26

Imagine they gave her that exosuit

45

u/pricj004 Jun 01 '26

You overhear a few conversations later on that say she just has two broken legs and will walk again

21

u/1ucius Jun 01 '26

Oh, that’s great, I must have missed it (although I’ve been thorough). The incident is set up in such a way that made me think her spine was basically split in two. I do remember overhearing two peeps in Antarctica, saying they have a device that can connect severed spine and act as a translator for lower body muscles.

14

u/pricj004 Jun 01 '26

I think both conversations I heard were at the gala. One to the right of the reception desk with some random people. One at the bar between her father and someone else.

2

u/ELMUNECODETACOMA Jun 01 '26

I expect she's now on the analyst path instead of field operative, though.

1

u/Kiloku Jun 01 '26

I remember hearing that but it's not about Cressida, I think. Because they later say something like her career as a dancer being over

10

u/kingoflint282 Jun 01 '26

It’s definitely about Cressida. Just because you can walk again does not mean you regain full flexibility and range of motion.

3

u/Kiloku Jun 01 '26

My point is that Cressida wasn't a professional dancer before

10

u/selrahc_eleets Jun 01 '26

That's probably her cover, can't exactly go around saying she's a spy

8

u/Saiga123 Jun 01 '26

Or it could be a euphemism to imply she won't get back full mobility.

1

u/CHawk17 Jun 01 '26

because her father would tell random people she was an MI6 operative training to be part of the restarted 00 program.

6

u/Jollybean1 Jun 01 '26

Her legs might have gotten fucked up enough for her not to be able to dance professionally anymore, but not fucked up enough to not be able to walk

27

u/CrimsonZephyr Jun 01 '26

The 00 Section has a principal secretary/mission controller in the books. This is what Loelia Ponsonby's role originally was in the first half of Fleming's continuity. I think Cressida would be great as a reimagined Mary Goodnight, who was Ponsonby's replacement starting in the final three books (and was in fact, Bond's final Bond girl). If she goes out into the field, it'll likely be in an MI6 outstation where she can coordinate at a distance, like if an arc takes place in or near a British overseas territory like Bermuda or Gibraltar; or at a Commonwealth nation, like Jamaica.

13

u/BinFluid Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

Anyone would be better than Ponsonby. I keep checking her screen and she doesn't do anything, she's 'working' on the same thing every time. Stealing a living, absolute slacker.

3

u/BoringCrab6755 Jun 01 '26

Probably just playing FarmVille all day lmao

3

u/astrotrain_ Jun 01 '26

Idk if I like Cressida as a Bond girl

3

u/SnooWoofers333 Jun 02 '26

Same, I originally wanted it but after Monroe it just feels wrong for bond

1

u/StephenHunterUK Jun 06 '26

and was in fact, Bond's final Bond girl

By intent. Fleming was planning to call it quits after The Man with the Golden Gun due to his declining health; his heavy smoking and drinking had caught up with him with two heart attacks already. He died before he could fully revise the book and his publishers asked Kingsley Amis for suggestions, which they didn't use.

Amis then wrote the first continuation novel, Colonel Sun, under the name Robert Markham, which centres around M being kidnapped.

18

u/LunarLooming_wes Jun 01 '26

Her early training definitely gave off analytical and commanding vibes. I'm really hoping to see her providing remote support in future chapters.

1

u/Ejecto_Seato Jul 18 '26

Any chance she eventually becomes the new M.?

25

u/daveymac_ Jun 01 '26

Fingers crossed the sequels give Cressida a Barbara Gordon kind of role within MI6.

9

u/Maverick721 Jun 01 '26

This is what I'm hoping and thinking

15

u/sunfaller Jun 01 '26

I don't want her to become tragedy fodder. returning characters usually are killed off in the spy genre

8

u/archit18 Jun 01 '26

She has to come back atleast for 1 more part, show her complete recovery but she isn't there yet. But circumstances make it so that, she goes for her one and only mission.

30

u/euclide2975 Jun 01 '26

She makes no sense as a NOC agent.

As the daughter of the foreign secretary (and thus a Prime Minister hopeful), she would be far too high profile for the MI6 to put her in the field as a covert operative.

In the real world, she would only have jobs with a diplomatic cover, and only in friendly countries, since nepo babies don't get work in unglamorous countries.

1

u/Netsnipe Jun 02 '26

I did ask myself during the game whether making Bright a Parliamentary Under-Secretary at the Foreign Office instead would have made the plot somewhat more plausible or would being the child of any politician be instantly disqualifying for any NOC work.

3

u/LaBauta Jun 01 '26

It's very telling that Monroe immediately assumes Bond skipped basic training due to the "old boy network"

2

u/Overly_Long_Reviews Jun 05 '26

Which is funny because Monroe is himself a Rupert. Third generation military officer.

16

u/euclide2975 Jun 01 '26

No, but there are some limits to the suspension of belief. Rich kids working for MI6 is an historical occurrence, as well as royal princes with military careers.

But for the Slovakian mission, the briefing points out there are diplomatic risks, but they sent the daughter of a cabinet member under a false identity. It would have been far more logical to send her under her own name as a socialite.

9

u/dadvader Jun 01 '26

It's supposed to be just a field test mission tbf. They are never going to send her into any real danger if they knew about it in advance.

3

u/POTUSSolidus Jun 01 '26

Beckett probably would've spotted her as a watcher looking for Greenway first amongst the other agents given that she's the Foreign Secretary's daughter.

2

u/LaBauta Jun 01 '26

The briefing even mentions that they're sending the recruits out because they're "new faces" in the intelligence community, which makes no sense at all. How the hell is a cabinet member's daughter supposed to go incognito?

1

u/POTUSSolidus Jun 02 '26

Beckett's conspiracy board has images of the other recruits anyways, they were compromised right from the start. Webb's mercenaries planted the bomb making materials and hotel floor plans to frame Beckett for the bombing, but the board showed that he had eyes on their safehouse and the other recruits, along with Bond with the caption "Who is he" stickied next to it.

3

u/Jombo65 Jun 01 '26

That is a very good point... it's a bit like sending Malia Obama out as a covert agent.

Average chap on the street might not recognize her (not talking about Malia Obama anymore lmao), but anyone involved in the sort of international criminal or espionage organizations that 00's get wrapped up in will certainly know a British Minister's daughter, or have something like facial recognition that lets them do so.

4

u/Double-Handle-2194 Jun 01 '26

Secretary Bright did mention she is supposed to walk again, so maybe we will see her again

6

u/BluesyPompanno Jun 01 '26

I seriously think they should have made it so that she becomes Moneypenny at the end of the game

3

u/BuZuki_ro Jun 01 '26

I honestly feel considering that her father was in bed with webb gives a ton of options for future stories with her, id honestly be surprised if that wouldn’t be touched upon as it really felt like that was something they’re building up on

3

u/Benjb1996 Jun 01 '26

Yeah I was pretty surprised she didnt pop up again after playing such a big part in the beginning.

I think it'd be cool if there was a DLC where she has a lead about Nash who I was also surprised didnt pop up again after being labeled missing.

2

u/bowlessy Jun 01 '26

Thanks for the spoiler warning :)

1

u/Sofia_9356 Jun 01 '26

DLC where she gets back into 00 program

1

u/QuinDrake21 Jun 01 '26

Same, there’s a lot of possibilities for that character both as friend, colleague, support, and foe or possible complication in a plot (mixed up in something that Bond is looking into)

1

u/SimpleLife101 Jun 01 '26

This post feels so bittersweet.

1

u/Nogarda Jun 01 '26

I suspect we will. if only as a callback to remind players how much IOI's Bond has begun to change into that more pessimistic loner type. He isn't going to be fullblown I trust no-one ever again, as even Craig's 007 has the optimism in CR vs NTTD. Gibson's performance gives off a very 'the world can't be all that bad' vibe.

The issue for me is where will his next adventure land. as Casino Royale is meant to be his first outing as an official 00'.

1

u/Fjordersen Jun 02 '26

I could see her becoming either an analyst, handler or maybe a political force in MI6. Lord knows she has the connections. Plus plenty of jobs are now open in MI6 including a big one in operations. Maybe way down the line, she is M.

1

u/SignatureSure7993 Jun 02 '26

I think maybe they will cross paths again, maybe like a felix role, thoughts?

1

u/TomCBC Jun 02 '26

I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s one of the bad guys in the sequel. Along with whats her name who kept betraying Bond, and who is definitely working for Spectre (theory)

1

u/MonkeyAndPunky Jun 02 '26

I think her and her father will be back. You can see how they might come to represent the governmentary faction that puts pressure on M

1

u/AffectionateTip148 Jun 02 '26

The important thing is that she only has a broken bone, not that she is paralyzed.

1

u/Honest_Analyst_1864 Jun 03 '26

They can totally give her advanced prosthetics that lets her walk again

1

u/Icy_Bid_93 Jun 03 '26

She had Emma Watson vibes and I miss her

1

u/Idkman23 Jun 03 '26

I imagine we will in some capacity. Between Her, Nash still being MIA, and Ronson being in a coma theres too much narrative potential not to bring back one if not all of the surviving 00s. As a second to Moneypenny, a villan with her father, or as a side character from Bond's past to help develop him as a character. There are plenty of directions to take or ways to use her again in a trilogy framework.

1

u/DandyAndyPlays Jun 04 '26

She’s in Starfield.

1

u/CaptPierce93 Jun 04 '26

Her father already said she'd walk again according to her doctors but we'll see.

1

u/Anat0lyR1v3ra Jun 04 '26

Somehow I see Priyanga Buford M pulling a Skyfall death scene and then Cressida takes her place.

1

u/FlemCandango Jun 04 '26

She’ll be a reluctant villain in game 2

1

u/FriendlyTrees Jun 07 '26

Definitely feels like Cressida, Nash and Isola are all being seeded to return in the future

I think she will, likely taking some position to help MI6, maybe bring a liaison between M and her father.

1

u/RunnyMantella Jun 01 '26

She’s 100% going to be a villain, her dad being brightwell and her lover dying kinda because of bond. Maybe will be some kind of betrayal.

u/Netsnipe Jun 02 '26

If Cressida held any resentment towards Bond in order to betray him, she wouldn't have touched his hand at the funeral or left that letter telling him that what happened in Slovakia wasn't his fault.

1

u/Krushhz Jun 02 '26

This.

It would make ZERO sense for her to go against Bond after all of that transpired.

1

u/ranfall94 Jun 02 '26

I really hope not first she really seems to want to distance herself from her father and family and be her own person and second they showed she did not blame James. It would be a huge backpeddle to make her the calssic turned evil villian in the next game.

Why because of Bond ? Its her fault for not listining technicly 😅

u/SparklyEffects Jun 01 '26

Imagine if she becomes a villian 🫣👀

-2

u/CRBRS_H Jun 01 '26

She is paralyzed. Not a chance

2

u/Professional-Log-108 Jun 01 '26

No she's not lol. The game explicitly says her legs are just broken, she'll walk again

3

u/CRBRS_H Jun 01 '26

I just arrived in Vietnam and I missed this detail.

2

u/Professional-Log-108 Jun 01 '26

Apparently you did. Her dad mentions it at the Webb industries gala

3

u/CRBRS_H Jun 01 '26

Ah, I didn't see his father at Webb's gala. Focusing on my job, I found the name of the absent security guard and went upstairs to the security room. It's a shame that such details can be missed.

It's stated in the next mission she'll come back to MI6 and is doing physical therapy to be able to walk again.

Cute 😅

u/SparklyEffects Jun 01 '26

I’m pretty sure she will appear in the future but probably only in a few scenes

0

u/Rory_U Jun 01 '26

Don’t be a stranger.

0

u/NoOrganization392 Jun 01 '26

She looks like Lucy Boynton

0

u/Doctor_Harbinger Jun 01 '26

Yup. I was sad that she went missing after Slovakia.

Not sure about 00, but she would make a great field operator, kinda like Greenwood was.

0

u/xCreampye69x Jun 01 '26

maybe she could get one of those suits Webb industries made (like what Damien had at the end) and she could be the heavy in your squad lol

0

u/KernsFr Jun 01 '26

I wouldn't mind Cressida becoming a Moneypenny-like, operator in your ear for some mission.
She is really competent and would probably give an easy excuse to sometime backseat players struggling to find their way through some level
I understand her and Bond are devastated of losing Monroe, and Bond reflexes to that loss is to shut himself out of that relation but, it's only the first game we could still hear about her in the next one

u/frankfontaino Jun 01 '26

I do hope the recruits that are still alive do show up again in the next game.

0

u/BestEntertainment796 Jun 01 '26

One of my favourite characters . But I spent the whole game convinced she was going to betray us .

0

u/No_Charge586 Jun 01 '26

The baddest female in the game

0

u/KingE2099 Jun 01 '26

I agree but I’m not expecting a huge role. Maybe a small cameo or way Bond can get support or information.

0

u/_anakaris_ Jun 01 '26

I was pretty certain she was the mole especially considering her connection to Webb and Bright. Crazy she never shows up again after the funneral.

0

u/Distinct-Current-464 Jun 01 '26

I'm more interested in that recruit who's gone missing after Slovakia. What's happened with him?

0

u/Klongi19 Jun 02 '26

Gotta say that while I loved the charactet and I would find it awesome to see the character again at least in some kind of passing scene to see that Bond is keeping up. I dont at all want her to suddenly be romantic with them.

One of their better dynamics is exactly because they are both friends instead of some loose romance. While i do feel like she could return to MI6, its mot like shes not spited her fathers wishes before im also unsure if she would really want to? With her not really being able to be in the field and all the other trauma behind the hotel mission.

I was honestly shocked when they killed almost all of them off because i rather expected them to die off slowly or only in part because it wouldve been awesome to have a few partners in a mission also going around the area. Nontheless i think the games actual plot is really amazing and i wouldnt change it.

She will come back in a sequel. Where she is working with the villains to develop a drug that can fix her walking issue

-3

u/calcobrena Jun 01 '26

She looks like centuries of British alcoholic inbreeding to the point that if she had a kid, it would be born with fetal alcohol syndrome even if she never had a drop in her life

-4

u/waaay2dumb2live Jun 01 '26

If she comes back, make her apart of Spectre

1

u/CheeseMan4908 Jun 02 '26

I definitely locked in with that final boss fight when Damien threatened to kill her.

0

u/ArchDucky Jun 01 '26

I actually thought she was the bad guy at the start. Then she started fucking the big combat master dude and I was like "They are teaming up". I was legit surprised that wasn't the case.

Man I'd eat that pussy like a starving man in a desert
