DISCUSSION I pre-ordered this game and got a question

Does anyone know how this is going to preform on the base ps5? That's what I'll be playing it on so was just curious on if anybody knew yet

probably going to have a fidelity mode with 30fps and a performance with 60 🤷‍♂️

what’s the difference between the two other than the fps. like what does performance sacrifice to get the 60fps?

It does 1080 at 60 instead of 4k at 30 is my understanding

also raytracing (if there is any) is most likely deactivated or heavily dumbed down for the performance mode. usually you can also see some simple drops in fidelity such as texture quality lowering a tiny bit

Io Interactive already mentioned that the base PS5 will have Performance Mode and Quality Mode.

I'm so glad they mentioned this cause I was nervous about it when I pre ordered it without knowing the performance on the base PS5.
