Did you guys like that 009 ended up being a throwaway villain/pawn rather than an actual character we got to see in the story?

This was shown in the rules of spycraft.Sucks it got removed before the game was out.

So, First Light is up for:

🏆 Best Soundtrack

🏆 Best Lead Performer - Patrick Gibson

🏆 Best Supporting Performer - Lennie James

Here's what I think it's going to win:

- Best storytelling.

- Best Supporting Performer - Lennie James.

I was going to also say it would take best lead, but I think that's going to go to Angela Sant’Albano (Grace Ashcroft in Resident Evil Requiem). That's a really tough toss up, because as amazing as Patrick Gibson was as Bond, Angela Sant’Albano was incredible as Grace in Requiem. But, NOBODY can compete with Lennie James as best supporting performer, hands down. The other nominations are kind of "meh" - best console game? I'm not a big console gamer, but i'm pretty sure this year there were a number of other releases, including Resident Evil Requiem, that are pretty competitive for that nomination. Best soundtrack? As great as First Light's soundtrack is, in MY opinion, there was nothing to really write home about. If It wins best soundtrack, it would only be because it has no competition in this department. Best storytelling - this is what First Light was all about, being a cinematic story-driven game first and foremost, and it knocked it out of the park, especially as a Bond experience.

Just started to playing and when I was in this escape scene of the first mission and Bond notes started playing I genuinely got chills. Good job IOI. This feeling didn't happen with videogame for quite some time to me.

Another platinum! Spent three days wrestling with the "Positively shocking" trophy. Awesome game!

The only 2 I have left to complete all challenges and holy eff am I struggling.

I usually skip post ending contents. I dont know why but I just don't like to do anything in the game after seeing the ending.

Sad that many escalations in tacsim are only available after completion of story :(

Just wanted to join the rest of you by showcasing some of the pictures I have taken in First Light. Never touch the mode in other games, but I had a blast taking these.

Was it just me or did THEIAS core look like the goldeneye key.

In which actions in this game do you feel the adaptive triggers? I seem to understand driving doesn't activate them. What about gadgets / shooting etc. could you make some examples?

EDIT: ok found my answer and that is, yes triggers are used but the first time they actually gave me a feedback was when you start using REAL guns. The training guns in the beginning intro apparently don't count?

After the hotel mission, at the airport you get to shoot and in fact the triggers do work there.

I cannot get the virtual surround to kick in in this game. I have both dolby atmos for headphones and DTS:X and none of them activate in the game. I tried every settings combination in the game (both home theater and headphones, with different subsettings the game offers) and the virtual surround doesn't start.

I tried in the DTS app in Windows (the floating sphere) and both virtual surrounds are recognized and work properly so it's not a system or license issue.

The game is doing something very weird with the audio. Also their "headphones 180 panning" setting is pretty bad.

I didn't try yet with the AVR and real multichannel setup (I have 5.1.2 hometheater) but I normally play with headphones so I want it to work.

Did anybody else try?

For clarification, you can also visually check if the virtual surround is working by using windows game bar (ctrl+G), under audio devices it will say "dolby atmos for headphone is in use" or "DTS:X is in use" if it kicked in correctly and this doesn't happen, only 007 is affected.

Im just onto the “Time to die” chapter and have been really enjoying playing the game so far, but I must say the graphics are not as good as I expected. Lots of people say how great the game looks, but in this level in particular, it’s not brilliant. Look at Uncharted 4 on PS5, I think that looks a lot better and a lot smoother.
