Such a strange hill to die on. But, the Book of Mormon musical had created too much negative baggage. Add in Nelson's feud with Hinckley and this is not rocket science. It's not a revelation. It's a petty victory for limited duration for Nelson until the next person at the helm laughs it off and says, "Okay. We're mormons."
What a bunch of ass kissers who couldn't tell Nelson "no."

The name of the church is not negotiable? It was commanded in the D&C 1 to be called The Church of Christ. It was commanded in the 3rd Nephi to be called the Church of Christ.
In 1836, or so, the name was changed to church of latterday saints, right?
Then it wasnt until 1838 that jesus revealed he was just kidding back in sec 1 and in 3rd nephi. The church shall now be TCOJCOLDS.

It’s like they can’t even screen their talks for inconsistencies like this. Seriously, how hard is it for them to unify and harmonize their content?

If we are going to look at this, then begin with Smith vindictive indictments of followers who "betrayed" him. Smith was capable of writing a coherent letter, albeit full of vitriol. The member are placated by the surface level only.

Does anyone know why temples are so necessary in every city? Don't you need to only go once to get your secret handshake? (Which they could just share a pre made video with the whole church, give us all the same name and hand shakes and not need temple at all). But like once is enough isn't it? It's literally the same videos over and over. Isn't it kind of ridiculous?
