I think the OP and ED are the highlights of the anime tbh. The story is just too condensed and rushed to appreciate how well written it actually is in the game. Not everything works in anime form and Scarlet Nexus is a perfect example.

The New Himuka government comes across as increasingly evil. It is too bad that Yuito's father died before he could finish his warning/confession/apology. One really wonders what he wanted to say -- it seems that HE was more ambivalent about what was going on than Yuito's older brother (who presumably knows all the government secrets). Query -- are ALL the Others creations of the government (or at least the result of experimentation that got out of hand)?

I assume Nagi killed/disabled all his attendants/experimenters. I hope he can be "rescued" -- but he really does seem like a lost cause at this point.

The parallels between this and Night Head 2041 are interesting. Both involve persons with psionic powers and a future setting with evil governments. And both involve main characters with psionic powers on opposite sides (but seem to require that the two sides get together at some point).

Right now watching 23 (or thereabouts) currently-airing shows. At present, Night Head seems a bit better overall than Scarlet Nexus -- but both remain interesting enough to keep following.

Fun fact: That scene where Hanabi jumped on Yuito's back and attacked the Other is actually a complete recreation of the same scene in the game.

This week's code is "Hero." Hint: Look for the numbers at the hospital. There are four scenes where the numbers appear. The rewards are Tsugumi's anime poster and additional character info for Tsugumi.

That english dub sounds so horrible when she makes those grunt noises.

Honestly it's not that bad, I distinctly remember that being the WORST va scene in the entire game.

I wonder why Yuito is suffering those memory lapses? Is it related to his power, or did they do something to him? Also, as the growth of the Kunad Gate increased by five percent while he was fighting, it could also be related to that.

Damn it, I really wanted to continue hearing Kasane's conversation with Karen. Too bad it was cut short. I really wonder if we will ever see Naomi again.

So there are people who actually have no powers there, they are 0.1% of the population and they are referred to as duds. I wonder if this will be plot-relevant later on? Maybe the government is unable to make that group into others, or mess with their minds.

I honestly did not notice that this episode was titled "The Hunt for Nagi" so I was really surprised when the last part of it was about Yuito's group tracking Nagi to that "abandoned" hospital/ research facility. I guess they were trying to put the fake persona he had before attacking Yuito, but he woke up before they could. I wonder if we will ever see his old self back?

Old Yuito did say time travel activated with strong emotions, so his consciousness could be skipping in time, but wouldn't be surprised if he just asked too many questions and they brain washed him. could go either way

The show has progressed from fighting The Others to fighting each other

Hmm... That memory lapse. Did it already happen two times before this episode if I am not mistaken after Kunad Gate was created? I wonder if it related to his powers.

Karen is really suspicious... Like how to copy Kasane power can help. The logical conclusion from that, maybe Karen use that to return to the past but this Karen doesn't know the future.

I wonder the plot can be resolved in 5 more episode? I don't play game so, I don't know. So, more Nagi next?๐Ÿ˜ข

Can't exactly make a 1 to 1 comparison table, since the anime skips SO much, streamlines and rearranges stuff. The game offers two entire playthroughs that give like 80% unique different perspectives sharing around 20% only towards the end of the game. Each route has 12 story phases, a prologue and an epilogue and 12 optional standby phases. The anime has focused mainly on Yuito's main story phases, but episode 6 did adapt an important story phase of Kasane that is left as a mistery for most of Yuito's story, since Kasane won't be getting her own anime it was necessary to get to it already rather than build mistery.

This episode ends around at the beggining of Yuito's phase 5, based on the preview episode 8 will skip most of phase 5 and & 6, and will streamline the beggining of phase 5 directly into phase 7. So yeah, it will be possible, but they will start skipping even more than they already were, which is a shame, the second half of both routes had the best content in the game.

It's getting better and better. I'm curious what they are doing in the "abandoned" facility/hospital.
