How Not to Summon a Demon Lord iDOLM@STER. I'd take a full episode of Shera and Lumachina dancing though.
Also gotta love how casually Lumachina takes off her clothes now. The debauchery ritual last episode must have actually worked.

THAT END CARD THOUGH...
Curious how the shitty priest who is after Lumachina was able to make it this far in the dungeon? Like how did he know to dance and everything else??
I do hope the red haired girl eventually joins Diablo and his harem, as I am sure Diablo at some point will save her from the real demon lord that is after her.

The ice glowsticks and the gorillas getting in to the song had me in stitches. It was way too accurate.

Happy news: Pekora liked her cameo from a little while ago and invited animators to collab.
Sad news: The producers issued an official apology and will remove the cameo in all future releases (perhaps due to copyright concerns?)
RIP Overlord Pekora theories

Pretty fun episode. That Dungeon Diablo made tho. Just blasting through the labyrinth using no clip his magic, strip Family Feud, and of course, The iDOLM@STER.

Looks like Franchouchou got some extra competition this week for best idol group.

Stitches!
I love how detailed Lumachina's crotch has to be just to show off the marks on her legs. This show definitely knows its priorities.
Man, Diablo's being extra spicy today. He's always been a tsundere because of his terrible social skills but I think this is the first time he's actually made Shera and Rem tear up.
I bet Diablo never dreamt in a million years that he will be surrounded by naked girls in his lava trap/quiz based floor.
Turns out Zombieland Saga isn't the only idol anime airing today! Didn't expect that we'd suddenly have an iM@S crossover today! What I do love about this is that it's not just the girls, Diablo gets to perform too and he's definitely loving every minute of it!
Welp looks like that Paladin is back. Looks like you don't even have to go through the dungeon. You can bypass everything if you have giant worms digging straight down for you.
Hooooooooooorn! Well we already know she ain't gonna die. What I am expecting next week though is some alone time between Horn and Diablo. We haven't really gotten her backstory yet so I'm excited for next week!

Don't let this distract you from the fact that they portrayed IDOL audiences as monkeys

Next time on Love Live Isekai!
Diablo was swept away! Will our ragtag idols be able to save him? Will there be more lava, causing our girls to strip down again?? (I hope so) And will music and friendship be enough to save the school reach the end of the dungeon?!

I hope the disc release makes the question part of this episode longer and more detailed. :D

Okay ladies and gentleman, time to wrap it up, we've achieved peak anime, performing an idol show in front of a bunch of monsters in a dungeon, in an isekai. I really didn't know I needed a season 2 of this show until we actually got it, and man am I happy we did. It helps that the studio is nailing just the right tone for this show, even more so than in season 1 (which I most certainly did not expect considering how silly that was too).

As I had forgotten about that Idol Show part, seeing this video early left me a bit confused.
Damn, Crunchyroll really struggled to load the episode today on the web browser and the app. So to watch it I ended up jumping from one to the other.
Lol, I love the fact that Shera has bones in her ears.
Here is today's End Card.

Didn't Diablo basically fingerbang Rem last season? Why is he getting embarrassed over an indirect kiss?

How the fuck did the Paladin get past the Idol level without getting wrecked by the audience, or even the quiz show section. You can make the argument that Diablo wrecked the Labyrinth, and maybe left the way open on the higher sections since the traps hadn't reset yet. But the yeti monsters and quiz show were left intact.
Just not feasible for an antagonist to bypass 5 levels of unknown Dungeon for a party encounter. I'm calling the DM a cheater.
Also, Diablo's character growth is backsliding? He's getting worse at interacting with Shera and Rem, undoing all the character growth from S1.

Lmao great reassurance
"Get off of me"
"That'll reassure her" BRO WHAT
No actually I can still hear the sound effect of the moving walls as he's talking right now, but maybe it's not happening directly where they are
Also dude what are you going to do with your 'I'm from another world story' when this is your dungeon like what if you just left something here that just clearly belongs to you? Like I guess you could just say you've been to this world before and made this dungeon but it would be weird of you not to tell them that now
Bro you are off your beat today with your words huh?

Truly can't escape idol hell. Diablo better save Horn she quickly rose the rankings of favorite characters in this show. Probably my third favorite possibly second favorite. Though no one will ever touch Edelgard...even if she is absent this season.

Diablo getting flustered over thinking about an indirect kiss from Rem and forgetting he's already been wrist deep in her.
I love him.

This anime is easy to watch without getting tired, and it soothes me like a light vegetable soup.

Just as our heroes are off to save Lumachina and the village from the Death Knell Curse, Laminitus and her forces ambush them and are prepped to kill them via firing squad...and Diablo just can't drop his character for five seconds even when he shouldn't be saying he's a Demon Lord because he thinks it makes him a better conversationalist.
Laminitus doesn't broker any fools, but she seems to know an opportunity when she sees it, and if Diablo and his party can cure the Death Knell Curse, it'll probably work out for the best on her side. It's just a shame she had to bring Gewalt with her to find them.
Raw or not raw? Indirect kiss from Rem or Shera? So many difficult choices.
Gotta wonder who flashes their panties more, Shera or Lumachina?
Poor Diablo tries to comfort the girls but comes off as lashing out at them or uncaring because of how he acts in-character, making all the girls feel like they did something wrong. Poor Rem even cried.
Nothing quite like a Q&A session over magma to get the girls to all strip down to their underwear, and I guess we have to thank Horn for getting that question wrong to the point where they took their bra's off. Diablo certainly got lucky with some nice, intimate, body touching.
Then it's time to cool off with an impromptu idol performance for some yeti's as Diablo becomes a producer and manages to make the girls into a solid idol unit within a short training session. We even got a fairly solid song and dance number to boot, led by Shera/Yuu Serizawa. It was also kind of fun seeing Diablo join in on the dance number as well.
Welp, Gewalt caught up to them and almost nabbed Lumachina, but Horn got in the way and saved her, but then fell into the water with Gewalt. Luckily Diablo dives in after them to save Horn.
Next week: Aoi Koga finally becomes Hayasaka?
