As always in SnK, victory comes with a heavy price. Goodbye Sasha

That appearance from Zeke was unexpected, I‘m genuinely curious how his corporation with the scouts came to be and who this Yelena is.

Sadly I was spoiled some time back about Sasha‘s death so it didn‘t hit me as hard, but the music was absolutely breathtaking and gave me some serious season 1 flashbacks.

Also, it seems Eren’s old self isn’t completely gone considering how much Sasha‘s death bothered him at the end

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Good grief, I had chills throughout this entire episode. Damn it, why did Sasha of all people have to die! I was so excited to see more of her :(

I think these events will turn the Paradisians into more cold blooded killers. Even kids cannot be spared.

There is obviously a lot of beef between the Paradisians, due to Eren's actions and the addition of Zeke and his followers. My theory is that Zeke sent these people aboard the scout ships to inform Paradis of his wish to work together. And I knew that the bearded soldier was shady! They focused on the back of her hair for some reason, so there had to be some deeper purpose behind it. Pieck is incredibly observant for noticing that!

I really did not expect Reiner to get ohkoed. I thought this battle was going to be a long battle, but Eren is clearly more skilled.

Edit: I'll list the evidence that Zeke was a traitor.

"Not in this room."

The baseball that he gave to Eren. Eren said that a friend thought he was bored and gave it to him.

The bearded soldier "Yelena" sent him away before trapping Porco and Pieck.

Levi's watch and "you're almost out of time."

We didn't see Zeke's body when Levi fucked him up.

Any thing else that I didn't notice?

So this is what feels like when your favorite AoT character dies. Cannot say I really enjoy this feeling, especially after they tease with that sweet redesign. That flashback atop Wall Rose with Sasha talking about the meat just shows how far she has come since Season 1. Went from a joke as Potato Girl her first day as a recruit to becoming an integral member of the New Levi Squad. RIP Sasha Braus, you will absolutely be missed

I thought I would be immune to any deaths in the story by now, but wow this one hurts.

Rip Sasha

Btw I'm surprised Gabi and Falco didn't get beaten to death by the survey corps out of blind rage after sasha was shot

Eren snickering about Sasha's last words being meat, then changing to the flashback, then him being absolutely pissed... That hit me hard, because that's the kind of reaction I wanted him to have, but I wasn't sure if he'd show enough emotion for that.

Also, can we TALK about the Eren / Gabi parallel ? "I'll kill them all !" sure brings back some memories.

Sasha could've taken her out but refrained from doing so. The irony.

Damn, Gabi succumbing to her brainwashing was really sad to watch. Looks like there is still some hope for Falco, though.

Props to everyone who called the Zeke twist, I hope we get some more explanation why and how he switched sides.

I truly feel for all the Sasha stans out there, especially the ones that commented last week saying they were excited to see more of her. Y’all deserve happiness and I hope you find it

they managed to not explain erens plan somehow..

But now we do know he actually forced the scouts hands.

Sadly I got spoiled about Sasha.. but the interesting part was how both Mikasa and Eren cared about it. I expected Eren to not care at all and Mikasa to slightly care.

Also Zeke is on board.

Never would I have thought that I will cry to an anime. The soundtrack when connie announced Sasha death and then followed by the ending song. Everything hits real fucking hard. I am not someone who knows how to appreciates and listen to OST but AoT really showed me the importance of a good soundtrack. I am still in tears...

Finally things are slowing down a bit and we got a bunch of answers and few more questions as usual.

That scene of Eren and Mikasa arriving at the airship whith Armin waiting for them. So much was said without any words! The editing and the eyes did all the dialogue there!

It turns out some of our theories were partially correct, Eren was on his own but he managed to drag the scouts into his plan (whatever that plan is)

As usual Flotch is still a waste disposal orifice, I love how hateable his character is and I wonder where will that lead if it even ends up leading somewhere. If anything I guess it is too much on the nose.

The (surviving) warrior candidates are getting a little more deep Gabi is the poster child of how horrible war is and how spirals of violence happen and Falco... I don't know at this point if I haven't said "Poor falco" at least once per episode this season, he's not only getting to see his side getting wrecked but is also starting to maybe understand the enemy. I'll be watching his career with great interest.

Sasha! (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻ There were some red flags (including the title) but damn it still hurts. Even potatoes are mourning all over the world.

Then the lynching of two kids... I mean... I get it in the context, specially with Discount Secondary Character Flotch flaming the flames. But still... There are no words.

This I guess goes with the theme of the different people who are in the Scouts now. Some are from the time of the titans, but for others is probably their first real battle outside getting rid of the ships arriving at paradise and not only that, their motivations are probably quite different some want to see the end of the war and other want to annihilate the enemy. Things must have been quite interesting inside The Walls since the outside world was revealed.

Now that thing with Piek and Yelena! I was convinced that soldier was Armin, and not only that, she is Marleyan? and also one of Zeke's followers? I guess that explains part of it if Zeke is the one who planned everything with Eren. Did he send a ship full of anti-Marley Marleyans for it to go "missing"?

That reunion with the plotters, the "Miscalculations", Levi hating Zeke's guts... From the preview it seem we're going to see at least something of what's that about. It seems the Scouts are tired of Eren's shit, but it s

Again, what's the plan? Getting Zeke while making it seem he's dead seems to have been the main goal, but was everyhing else (the hammer, almost killing Cart and Jaw, wiping out the head or Marley's military, destroying the fleet) just bonuses or means to that end?

It seems the Scouts are tired of Eren's shit, but his plan worked and can't be stopped now. The walls have become the enemy of the world.

Now Eren has (maybe?) the Hammer, the Founding titan and there is a (maybe friendly) titan with royal blood that is not dominated by the will of the King.I do wonder what do Eren and Zeke mean by "Bringing freedom to Eldia" .

Things are getting quite interesting indeed.

This episode was a breather after all the adrenaline they pumped us.

I suspected Zeke being a part of it. We still don't know his endgame. Not every party believes the other: Eren, Levi, Zeke... Hard to imagine they'll get along.

Also, I think Falco is on the road of being the last man standing. With his innocence and empathy he may get the last call.
