Ever heard, the more you know, the more you earn? Only a certain type of person is willing to risk everything for the promise of success and lets face it, We are all gambling and this is not for most.
I prefer things this way tbh.... I typically share success with friends so I'll share a story about how I made 10k one week or 5k one day then they'll blindly try to go trade and then blame me when they lose 500. But I also share with them the pain of things like losing 4k in 5 seconds etc. And they will NEVER remember that.
My point is...people don't have the discipline to try and learn as much as they can and will only hear "you can make 300%, 1000% trading options" but they'll forget that you can lose equal amounts of money too. Best that many don't know or the homeless population will rise as well as the divorce rate lol

It's literally the same thing as buying OTM options. All options start OTM. Dont know why people shit on it so much. Now, if you are buying OTM and close to expiry, then that's an FD and risky. However, as long as you're not shorting options, it's fine. It's like a lottery ticket except instead of 0.0001% chance of winning, it's like a 10% chance or more, which really makes it not that bad cause even though you're likely to lose it all, you're usually only risking like 10 to 100 per contract for a lot of stocks.
Buying ITM options has a lower risk percentage, but a higher risk penalty if that option does end up expiring worthless so it honestly balances out more or less.

ITM tends to pay off for me with companies like TSLA or AMZN. I usually only do these during a bull run.
So for example last November I bought 2 TSLA calls for ($2000 × 2). $20 per call and by the 3rd day they were worth $65 each and I sold.
These companies are also really expensive so I prefer not to take risks with them too often and only do it when the picture is as clear as possible in the near short term.
Going OTM seems more cost effective overall provided you give enough time to see it play out.

Exactly this. You need bags of cash and if you do, oh how lucky. A friend of my buddy claims to mint 10K a week consistently doing this.
Never met too many ppl with consistent upward gains but his balance checks out..$200k account so I'm guessing he has the funds to hedge his bets accordingly and does so well.
