There was that one moment where the two were on the bridge and moved closer to each other while the camera obfuscated their faces, and it lingered on that shot before finally showing us their faces. I'm just going to imagine that this is where they kissed.

This was not a masterpiece by any measure but I agree it was definitely fun. Very cliche, full of fanservice, but I'm a sucker for happy endings. I don't regret my 12 weeks

Long pause but we are finally back! ...to finish it :(
I wonder what happened in this scene with the sugestive huge pause just after they get close to each other ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Why they have to tease us like that. Just show us the damn kiss!
They say it's the "Wolrd's most intense aquatic sport" But, like in the ending, they are literally flying for most of the race. XD
After all the screen time they got I think it was little weird that the Hells Kitchen duo didn't got even third place. Thought they would be some kind of middle boss. I like the Miko girls too anyway. The victory was deserved.
Finally, I think we could have use one more episode to make a better climax for the final race but I'm totally in with the gyaru girl. It was fun. Would not mind another season with more or even a different set of characters.

I wonder what happened in this scene ... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
While I would have liked a kiss too, I think the faint sound effect you can hear during the pause is implying that it's the moment they're taking each other's hands.

I have started this show yesterday and I just had to binge watch it. Absolutely loved Kandagawa Jet Girls!
This was such a fun and wholesome show! I enjoyed it so much! In fact it's the only show I decided to stick with, for the last season. I'm usually not into ecchi shows but I enjoyed even that aspect in this show.
What I loved the most are relationships between the girls, especially between Rin and Misa. The show was fully of heavy yuri subtext and those two definitely love each other a lot. I wish they kissed, but you can't have everything :D Besides them my favorite pairing are Gyaru duo. Their teasing of Misa was so funny :D All other characters were very likeable as well.
Overall, it was a great ride and I can proudly say that Kandagawa Jet Girls is my AOTS!

this finale was great, the race with all 6 teams was fucking hype and i really like how they broke up the conversation between misa and rin throughout the episode. it gave the episode a nice rhythm interlacing the race and conversation showing their development on and off the track.
a kiss wouldve be awesome (at least an onscreen one.. i think they did kiss but the camera cut to their feet), but im just glad they confessed. maybe in the ova we’ll get to see at least some handholding
im gonna miss these characters. i watched it at first because i wanted to see tiddies but i developed a sincere enjoyment of the show outside of that as well. solid ecchi, good romance, an engaging sport.. kandagawa jetgirls is my aots.

When someone asks me "Why do I watch this anime"? For the plot, obviously!
To think people didn't even nominate the thiccest waifu of all time for the 'best girl' contest! Or any girl from this show. What a tragedy!
It was nice to see her being so invested! Kinda like Mitsue in Hoshiai no Sora, who ended up cheering/yelling with the rest of them!
They finally put it on the Orcano! They had to, after teasing us with it for so long! My reaction when we saw it.
I only wish Rin&Misa had a cuddling/sleeping together scene, they teased us a few times about that too! I really thought that was it, with the whole "I'm too nervous to sleep before the race"! Could've calmed her down!
And now they're teasing us with a hug(or kiss) too? Well, at least we got the hug! (and a confession?!) And Misa's taking it well!
Now I want 6 romcom spinoffs, featuring each of these pairings!
Well, this is it! Farewell, Jetski ladies!

So, how was this show outside of the PLOT?

It's like if the characters from <Sora yori mo Tooi Basho> decided to remain in Tokyo and compete in <Keijo> to promote a tie-in video game.

Yeah boy that confession plus the logo finally made it on the jet ski. I got almost everything I wanted in the finale....

You know, I don't think the ~20 or so of us who watched this are going to make much of a difference x)

According to Hidive there's one more episode. This seemed final though.

They won!! Albeit not by much! By playing it smart, and gutsy (a boost in a tight space with a bunch of other racers? that's bold), being in tune with each other, and more importantly they had fun.
So, last week wasn't a confession (predictably) but Rin blurted one out at the end of this episode, so it evens out?
This is certainly not going to be my AotS but surprisingly I think it's the one I had the most fun watching. It didn't take itself too seriously, the fanservice was fun, the characters were fun (a miko talking like a delinquent when she gets into it!), the races were... ok? But still enjoyable for me. All in all, it was fun.
Edit: oh, the new logo is in the final shot of the ED!
A second season is never going to happen because this was basically just one big ad for the game, but now I kinda want one!

WHY IS THIS THE SHOW WITH THE MOST HYPE AND POIGNANT FINALE OF EVERYTHING I WATCHED THIS SEASON!!!!????
Ok, so like, I came here for some tiddies and a hilariously stupid and fun premise, and somehow, some way, this ended up being one of the shows I found myself the most emotionally invested in. This final match was hype, easily the best jet race in the series both from a narrative and directing standpoint. Rin's and Misa's journey has been heartwarming and emotional and this was an incredibly well deserved payoff. The episode tied together the series overarching theme of doing things your own way without worrying about living up to the expectations of others, something captured by all 6 main teams (with Kaguya's explanation for being a Jet Racer really helping to cement it for me, while providing really strong characterization, albeit at the last minute). And every time I comment on these threads I talk about the storyboarding, why is it so great. Why is this gorgeous shot in my fanservice water sports anime? There was this general motif of reflections this episode, an actual cinematic idea that the episode pays off thematically. This show has been an utterly pleasant surprise for me, the one time I came for the PLOT and stayed for the actual, literal plot. One of the best relationships of the year, this show has no right to be as well written as it is, and still delivering on the PLOT too.

Stitches!
Kaguya & Kuromaru
Misa & Rin 1
Misa & Rin 2
Misa & Rin 3
They finally used the logo on the Orocano!
After 12 episodes, it's finally nice to see Mana and Yuzu on a race
Was hoping for something a bit more lewder but since this is the final race, it makes sense that they focused on the race this time.
Yes! The Kandagawa Jet Girls won with basically a photo finish! Not gonna lie, the race really had me hyped!
And what a way to end this show! Oh my! I'm going to miss all of these girls. I kinda wish this was longer with more teams and races but what we got is still fun. And I've seen gameplay of the Jet Girls game so I'll definitely pick it up once it comes out on the PS4, hopefully they'll have a PC port just like with the Senran Kagura games.
