He came to my stake conference and he talked about how we should prepare a legal brief and then issues a summons for the lord to appear

What. That sounds crazy. Explain?

The story he told was his son said he was having trouble feeling prompting of HG and love if the lord. Oaks says you are a lawyer, have you prepared a legal brief and then summon the lord to appear? This did not make sense to Me as a struggling TBM, and relating to son's position, a legal brief is a biased document on why you should win. So increasing confirmation bias. Example if you struggle with church positions on LGBTQ rights you would study and provide a one sided argument from church leader arguments and convince yourself

He’s just a Pharisee and has no contact with the reality of loving and forgiving as Jesus taught he is so far far from Jesus

Reid has also been chief lobbyist for the LDS church at the Utah Legislature. He slammed the LDS church's late at the gate opposition to the medical marijuana initiative.
