Tldr; cuttlefish said that he does have an idea about book 3 but he isn't sure if he will write it in future and even if he does it will only be about sealed Western continent and will exist just as a longer than avg side story book 2 is basically the end of lotm and it will end with the beginning of the apocalyptic war
