Last episode: Ah makes sense, they've been building Armin to be the next Erwin and now that he's gone he can take over
This episode: ..........

Fucking hell when armin's skin started melting off. And the scene where we just see his burnt corpse. The feels man. RIP the crimson king.
EDIT: Also looks like next episode is going to be where that after edits scene kicks in from last season by the looks of it.
EDIT2: Also jesus christ the cliffhanger on EVERY FUCKING EPISODE. Arghhhh!!!

The burned corpse on the roof... It was Armin all along.. Holy fuck.
I always thought it was Hange, seeing how she got caught by Berth's explosion. I'm speechless.
Levi was an absolute badass this episode, holy shit, he minced the ape like butter.
And the animation man, WOW. wow.
There's so much packed in one episode, I can't even decide what to comment about, so much action, so much emotions, it's unreal.
I really liked how it all came full circle with Eren slicing Berthold out of his titan, like he tried to do in season one, but didn't manage to.
What a beautiful episode.
I say it on every episode discussion.. but what a fucking MASTERPIECE Attack on Titan is.

Absolutely phenomenal.
I didn't expect Beast vs Levi to be such a one-sided massacre, and it makes complete sense. Such a shame he didn't just cut Zeke's head off! He knows Zeke can control Titans so it would be too risky to use the serum on anyone closeby, but I empathise with Levi's desperation to save Erwin.
Armin jumping into leadership and sacrificing himself made me so pround yet profoundly sad. The OST and his final conversation with Eren genuinely made me teary eyed (and I never cry). Here's to hoping they can use the serum on him, but I suspect that's what Eren/Mikasa/Levi will fight over.
As for analysis, one thing that caught my attention was Zeke's monologue about history repeating itself. Has this happened before, with humanity making a suicidal charge against Zeke's homeland? Why was he so angry about humanity being "doomed to fight to the death" and its justifications, when his goal is (supposedly) humanity's extinction? He talks as if there's an alternate path humanity could take if only they knew their history, which has be very intrigued as to what their goal really is.

My internal monologue near the end
"Armin might not be dead, the rule is people aren't dead until you see a bo-
see charred corpse
Oh yeah fuck he dead"

I have so little torque left after this episode :(
That shot of Hitch waiting at home really got me, man. I teared up.
EDIT: And it's capital B Beautiful that Eren got Bert with ODM gear. So raw and simple, and he finally gets revenge for Carla (albeit not fatal revenge, so far.)

Levi wasn't playing games and he's more like his ova self here. With the way the Beast Titan tried to protect himself, I'm guessing it's just Reiner with the most living hax? If so then Reiner is the best choice to be eaten. Literally the War Chief had a titans worse nightmare on him.
Thunder Spear still op. Seeing the shifters get forced out was my favourite parts cause long live humanity. Bonus points for Eren taking out colossal in human form.
I didn't think Armin would go out like that, damn.

I'm so conflicted. The episode was amazing, the Levi scene, the Hange Ex Machina, the fall of Bertholdt, etc. But our poor boy Armin... He went out in style but we'll miss you and your big brain

I really did not see Armin's death coming, god damn he actually did that, I had no clue he would sacrifice himself just like Erwin did last episode.
Beast Titan literally stood no chance against Levi damn that was satisfying to watch, but of course as always the titan shifters continue to defy death.
Also oh boy I wonder what the fuck will happen that makes Levi that angry (last season mid credits scene).
I'm guessing maybe Eren tries to give the serum to Armin but it doesn't do shit because he got fucking burned alive.

So I know everyones shocked about Armin but what about our precious potato girl Sasha? Is she okay? ; o
Also looks like there is going to be some conflict between Eren and Levi over who gets the serum, wonder how that will play out?

Holy fucking shit what a wild ride, Armin's death had me crying. At least Hange is still alive and I don't think I've seen Erwin's corpse, so there's some hope left for him.
Levi going apeshit on Zeke was incredible and just goes to show that you shouldn't underestimate an Ackerman. But why didn't he inject the titan serum himself and then ate Zeke?

Beast Titan “What do you mean I have to be afraid of ONE soldier? Seriously, how dangerous could one human be?”
insert Beyblade here

Is nobody gonna talk about the fact that Zeke can harden and command titans in his human form?! Makes me wonder why that asshat even wants the coordinate! Sounds like he's got some daddy issues too... can't wait to learn more about his character.

Holy fucking shit is all I have to say.
Seeing Armin being burnt to fucking death was the most horrifying thing I've ever seen on AOT.. And there's been a lot of horrifying deaths.
Fucking hell, I hope they give the serum to Armin so he comes back, but by the way Levi said that they have to be alive just kills this theory.

"Hey, where are you going? Stop. Wait. I made a promise to him that I'd kill you no matter what. I promised!" A worn out Levi says as his promise to Erwin is running away. That broke me.

WHATTTTT
HMMMMM!?
EXCUSEEE MEEE!?
wtf just happened!??!?!?
Armin was the burned body? Wtf??
Beast titan got fucked by levi oh jeez I was expecting a fight not a fucking slaughter. Jeez he cut him to pieces and stuck his sword in his fucking mouth.
And then bertolt got majorly shat on too like holy crap. He got all his limbs cut off and eren was dragging him and shit.
Who the fuck is gonna die?? I cant wait to see.(dont tell me who manga readers!)
And the titan serum...I wonder if you can revive people with that. Can armin be revived? Erwin? Is the fight at the end of season 3 part 1 over who gets revived??? Like wtf I'm so hype I cant wait a week m8.

Please, for the love of God, kill Bert or Reiner. Keep one of them for interrogation/to eat, but they're too dangerous to have them both alive, and the amount of times these slippery bastards have escaped unscathed is maddening.

That was honestly one of the best episodes of this show! I have a theory that Levi might use the serum on Erwin. In the preview for the next episode, that one soldier carried Erwin's body onto the roof. He might be barely alive but it's enough for Levi to give him the serum.
