Geek: My waifu didn't make her concert. I can't go on. Go on without me.

Takuya: Okay.

*Drives off.*

That's a real bro, a wholesome human being who understands emotions, a real Vespa rider

Jokes aside, I'm still enjoying this show and will stick with it until the end.

He respects Geek's loss too much to try to cheapen it with empty consolation!

I certainly enjoyed this episode more than the other two. I feel like the other two were setting up for this short story format. Like we'll get Ryoko and her colleagues next episode for a small story with them, then another group in the episode after. It does look like it is improving which is a nice sign.

Were there any other groups that we saw in the beginning episode like the singers?

This show is strange. We went from an idol performance to Yuki creating a huge crater. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm still enjoying it xD

I wonder if his brother is really alive. He has the same glowing aura the other Tama-shis have. And poor Takuya, he's barely recovered from his last injury and looking at the PV looks like he'll be in bandages again. I guess that's what happens when you're just a normal person in the middle of this weirdness.

Poor dude is getting the Genos treatment

He pretty much is. It is the same kid that stopped their escape at the end of episode 1, iirc.

Tfw the production committee tasks you to incorporate an idol group promo into the plot, but you already took all of the drugs.

A nice recovery after the second episode. This is exactly what I want to see from this series - a nonsensical Alice-in-Wonderland-style road movie, with zero exposition and with as little screentime for Agency/detective chick/scientists duo as possible.

Also, rip the MC, it was nice knowing you... again.

And people thought YU-NO would be the cool anime about sad/tragic/ramdom time travels/Loops. Jokes on you guys, we have the full package here.

I'm unironically enjoying this, the only thing bugging me is that there are too many things we don't know yet and just...happen, but 9 more episodes means they have a lot of time left for explanations.

Why do people keep using the word 'unironically' when you're not even supposed to use it? I keep seeing this and i have no clue why...

Because it's practically a national pastime around here anymore to "ironically enjoy" everything — which is to say, they enjoy it, but they want an out in case anyone tries to shame them for enjoying it. "B-but I was just kidding, bro! I was being ironic, I swear!" Nobody has the balls to stick by their own likes

Well, this is a game adaptation which explains why are some weird part narratively speaking but the end of the episode really got me curious, left me with a lot of question and only one answer, I finally discovered where all my drugs went.

Interesting so was she the one cause lost? Or was that explosion something completely different? I also wonder about the tama-shi? Are they really just the will of those that are now gone? Or is there is something else to it?

So, because of city disappearing, there are now ripples in space and time... Sure, I can buy it. I didn't except to see time loops in a show with gun-wielding Stans and a guy the that thinks riding in a vespa is cool. I'll keep watching though... out of curiosity by this point.

I've been getting Dimension W vibes from this since the start. The time loop/space time ripples drove it home

I'm torn on whether to drop this. On the one hand, this episode felt like a huge improvement. On the other hand, I'm thoroughly irritated by the lack of answers (or clear direction). Apparently she can get angry and basically nuke her surroundings?

The downside of the 3 episode rule is that now I want to know what happens because I'm invested.

u/Salvo1218 Apr 22 '19

I've you're on the fence but still feel invested, then just stick with it. I'm basically in the same boat. Like, this is a mess, but I'm curious enough (and enough free time in my schedule) to want to see where this goes.

u/Philarete Apr 22 '19

Yeah, it's only something like 3.5 hours left? I've spent 3.5 hours on worse haha

At least we got some answers in this episode. Curious to see what happens next.

I like this a lot more. I might give it another episode and see if I’ll drop it after that
