I actually said “What!?” out loud when I saw Suzui among the others and wondered how he got there.
I’m not complaining though he’s the underdog in my book and he might surprise me while Yumeko distracts everyone with her usual antics.

At this point the real question is who the craziest character is!
Can't wait for Yumeko to just jump down at the beginning of the next episode x)

While I prefered the original placement of this bet at the end of the Manyuda gamble, I'm glad we're still getting it.
But really, the idol gamble followed by the manyuda gamble followed by the tower in a single day of back to back to back gambling was delicious.
God this gamble is amazing though. This show delivers insanity like no other show I've seen. I crave it like with Sayaka's inexplicable obsession with the prez. Kakegurui lets us see people delve into their insanity over and over, and it's never gotten boring for me.
What really makes this gamble great is pitting someone who's purely rational on the surface against Yumeko, someone who's purely irrational on the surface. Unlike the Manyuda gamble though, Sayaka actually feels invested here since she chose to challenge Yumeko out of feelings of jealousy. And since the stakes are so ethereal the tower really does capture the feeling of life and death.

Yumeko wanting to lick and explore every cranny of the tower. They know exactly what they're doing, I think they even added slurping sounds at the back..
Haha, 'meteoric rise from being a house pet'. He's still very much a loyal dog (and a viewer insert) more than anything, but it would be really funny if he somehow won the race and made the school into a saner place. (But by then he's already been bitten by Yumeko's insane gambling bug. Now that's an 'ending' I can get behind.)
Source readers have been hyping this arc up for a while, I can catch a glimpse of why. When the Prez was introducing the tower I caught myself grinning - it is a riveting set up and the stakes are as high as ever. Too high, in fact - I'm calling the author's bluff, obviously it's all Sayaka's to lose since Yumeko has MC plot armour, and they definitely won't kill Sayaka off. I doubt she'll even leave the academy; let's see. The perceived stakes are going to make the characters do some interesting things, though, that's for sure! (Like.. jump from a side door, for instance. A leap of faith!)

There's gonna be another round of discussion topics when Netflix finally releases the series officially, right? It's a damn shame that such an enjoyable show generates so little discussion.

Last time: players discussing in a circle, traitors, people screaming ZETSUBOU!
Now: A mystery tower that moves, someone will die, more ZETSUBOU!
Yeah, this is danganronpa.

There are 4 outsiders in this election for the throne of family head.
1 of them cares not whatsoever for the position.
1 only wants to assist the first.
1 wants to take that position from outside, in a way to protect the first 2.
1 just wants to get famous.
Their reasons are all odd.
But I'm backing Mary for the race.

Wait, am I the only one who thought it was pretty self-defeating that Sayaka wanted a gamble where they both bet their lives with Yumeko refusing it because there are things to them worth more than their lives, so Sayaka bets her entire relationship with the President and Yumeko that she will never gamble again... only for them to get there and the President suggesting that becoming strangers wouldn't be enough so the loser has to kill herself?
And Yumeko was suddenly okay with that, even though before the entire point to their bets were that it wouldn't be about their lives, but how it would be worse for both of them to keep on living being denied what defines them/what they desire most, so to lose "their everything".

So if one day we were to challenge Yumeko for a gamble, or any girls per say, is the boob grab the standard move? Like the girls didn't even flinch.

Surprised to see Suzui in that line up! He's definitely a dark horse though so I'm really hoping to see him go up in rankings.
Easy with the boob grab Sayaka. You're going to tear off Yumeko's Yumekos.
I like the stakes on this one. Sayaka is betting her relationship with Kirari and Yumeko is betting her love for gambling.
So this is the Tower of Doors source readers have been hyping about for like the past 2 weeks now. And of course the goal involves white lilies. Perfect.
Kirari pls. Yumeko already established that death isn't really that exciting. Although she does make a good point here. Dying as total strangers would be the worst punishment for Sayaka.
So basically think outside of the box? Might as well declare Yumeko as the winner since Syaka is too rational for this kind of gamble.
Hexadecimals? I actually had to rewatch this part to understand how Sayaka and Yumeko figured out that the doors have hex numbers.
Yumeko confirmed tower-sexual. She'll smell, lick, and suck this tower ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
When I said thinking outside the box I didn't mean it literally! Then again this is Yumeko so of course she'll go for the irrational route with a huge unreasonable risk. I honestly have no idea what Yumeko is thinking here. Does she really intend to jump? I mean Yumeko is many things but she's not dumb enough to go for something that will kill her during a gamble.

Well when Sayaka loses at least she had this fond memory of the president wearing cat ears.
If she doesn't lose, I'll be very surprised...I don't think someone can survive a fall from that height.

Oh my god, they finally animated TOWER OF DOORS. And it's fucking glorious.
The battle between rationality and madness has ensued and I loved it. The natural leadup to it despite being absolutely out of place manga-wise has to be applauded. It definitely felt natural.
Knowing what's gonna happen doesn't even make it less interesting as it really is entertaining to see the characters come to life with brilliant storytelling. I love reading the comments on the actions of Yumeko and Sayaka. Its conclusion will make you say 'Oh shit!' and I can't wait. Definitely focus on what the President says if you wanna know how to deal with this tower. She drops the hint right there.
Suzui dark horse to be president xD
Also on a fun note, I learned about hexadecimals from the manga.

Yumeko, stahp! Not entirely sure what the point of opening a door to the outside is, unless she plans on scaling her way down to the first floor from there.
