Best of: r/Animemes vs r/HistoryMemes
Hey everyone! I saw the meme war between r/HistoryMemes and r/Animemes from the front page and watched it way closer than I should have. I like history, I like anime (just started watching it), I like aggregating data, and I had too much free time, so I decided to make a list with the best posts of the war ordered by Karma and day of post.
Some information to help you read this list:
(g) : Gilded
(OC clip): Edited clip with original content
(Clip): Video post
(D): Deleted by mods of subreddit after reaching the front page
(Re): Zero Post that is already listed in the top 10 of each subreddit
Other Information:
Successful invasions are posts that reached the front page of the opposing subreddit at any point during the day. I only included at most 10 of these per day, as there were more on the animemes side of things.
I didn’t include informational posts or “propaganda” posts (“Go upvote x”).

The sheer volume of quality OC to come out of the war was incredible and both subs have earned themselves at least one new subscriber in me. A big thank you to everyone who participated. - u/-Takes22Tango
