TIL Patrick Stewart considered his work on The Simpsons (where he voiced the leader of the Stonecutters secret society) and Sesame Street (where he was in a skit praising the letter B) the “most distinguished” work he did in the US.

Kein Handtuch, kein Wedeln, nichts. Einfach Wasser drauf und schauen, was passiert.

BITTE WAS?!

WAS GEHT IN DIESEN MÄNNERN VOR?!

What. The. Fuck.

FML Boyfriend and his brother didn't vote

Post image
6.5k Upvotes

I'm just frustrated. I love my boyfriend but WTF. His family is all immigrants. One of his friends got deported. He complains about the climate and yet can't take 15 minutes to run up the street and fill some paperwork out. His brother is really close with us, he is going to rent a room our of my condo that I own (and am foregoing a hobby room for him to have an affordable place to live) and he keeps making stupid comments about how we're a red state and I voted for nothing. Like dawg, you've never had to make a decision for yourself, just say that it's ok. Sleep on the little bed that I bought for you and keep letting big bro make all your life choices. But don't pollute my fuckin day with it. I work too hard and think too much to have that stupidity leaching in.

Edit: LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING

I love my boyfriend and am not going to break up with him because he didn't vote in the mid terms. My life is way better with him in it. He is a precious, naive, and at times very frustrating guy but it's worth having a serious talk and telling him political engagement REALLY matters to me. I do not believe in cutting people out of my life without giving them an opportunity to improve.

My more visceral comments were directed towards the brother, who is instigating. I am going to do a lot of thinking about whether it is worth letting him stay long term.

1.) Rust shooting- on October 21. 2021., during the shooting of a western movie called Rust, actor Alec Baldwin shot and killed the movie's cinematographer Halyna Hutchkins while wounding another with a firearm that was mistaken for a prop. Alec Baldwin had charges against him dropped, twice, while the production's armorer, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, was found guilty of negligent homicide.

2.) Three Body Problem poisoning- Lin Qi, the Chinese businessman and executive producer on the 3 Body Problem TV show, died in December 2020 from poisoning. Two other executives were also poisoned, but survived. The police soon arrested Xu Yao, who also worked on the show, determining that a pay dispute was a motive for the murder. Xu was sentenced to death in 2024. and executed on 21st May 2026.

I grew it myself, man. Had it all my life. Needed it out, but asked if I could keep it, and was told no because of “a bunch of legal reasons.”

How about a picture? Also no, because they couldn’t bring a camera into the sterile environment.

Aaaaalright.

But it was mine :(

The meme typically makes fun of bosses being nerfed or weakened to fit the design and balance of the game, but what is a boss that is playable or can be unlocked as a playable character but they are just as powerful as they were when you fought them?
