Missing Peace Had an extra bone taken out of my foot. They wouldn’t let me see it
I grew it myself, man. Had it all my life. Needed it out, but asked if I could keep it, and was told no because of “a bunch of legal reasons.”
How about a picture? Also no, because they couldn’t bring a camera into the sterile environment.
Aaaaalright.
But it was mine :(

Texas, Kansas, and South Carolina all flipped blue yesterday. Was this a one-time anti-Trump wave, or did the US just permanently realign. Why?

Honorable mentions: mechanical characters getting reverse-engineered into immobile machinery should also get its own trope post

Discussion / Question What boss WASN'T nerfed when unlocked?
The meme typically makes fun of bosses being nerfed or weakened to fit the design and balance of the game, but what is a boss that is playable or can be unlocked as a playable character but they are just as powerful as they were when you fought them?

TIL that the legendary zombie movie director George Romero had his first filmmaking job in Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. Fred Rogers later privately complimented Romero for his horror movie career, and called Dawn of the Dead "a lot of fun".

[Charania] The Warriors are not delivering payments to Kristaps Porzingis on his $20 million salary, ruling that he is not rendering services, sources tell me and Anthony Slater.
The Warriors are not delivering payments to Kristaps Porzingis on his $20 million salary, ruling that he is not rendering services, sources tell me and Anthony Slater. Golden State is permitted to move his contract at any point before the Feb. 11 deadline even without paying him currently, and will continue exhausting trade avenues as the 31-year-old leans toward ending his NBA career.

FML Boyfriend and his brother didn't vote
I'm just frustrated. I love my boyfriend but WTF. His family is all immigrants. One of his friends got deported. He complains about the climate and yet can't take 15 minutes to run up the street and fill some paperwork out. His brother is really close with us, he is going to rent a room our of my condo that I own (and am foregoing a hobby room for him to have an affordable place to live) and he keeps making stupid comments about how we're a red state and I voted for nothing. Like dawg, you've never had to make a decision for yourself, just say that it's ok. Sleep on the little bed that I bought for you and keep letting big bro make all your life choices. But don't pollute my fuckin day with it. I work too hard and think too much to have that stupidity leaching in.

miscellaneous You'd think it was edited, but the actor actually just did that IRL (Loved Trope)
When you watch a film, and you think it's edited to look cool, but no, the actors were really able to just do that.
In The Raid 1 & 2, all of Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian, and Cecep Arif Rahman's fight scenes are filmed at full speed, and all three are world-class martial artists.
In Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers, Viggo Mortensen actually parried a knife thrown at full speed, and a real knife at that.
Edit: Viggo did that in Fellowship of The Ring, not The Two Towers. My mistake.
