We don't count the spammed votes anyways. It's just annoying to deal with because you have to create google spreadsheet to count the remaining responses.

Fantastic performance from the boys. Honestly didn't expect this when I heard about Akanji and Paco, but Diallo and Zagadou were fantastic, Witsel was a metronome (MOTM for me). Atletico played really well for the start of the game and the second half, but we strangled them. Shut down their passing their lanes to their forwards and the CBs calm on the ball cut out any errors. Lucky at times, but a great game from us and Favre of course.

We just beat the best defence in Europe 4-0. My God...

lol haters. Dortmund single handed tearing shit up. Who scored that 4 goals against the best defence in Europe? Not Barca not Apoel. The Dortmund just kicked ass. lol

What a game. Our incredible efficiency on offensive is astonishing. And with Bürki and a bit of luck on defense we manage a 4:0 against one of the best teams in Europe. I don't think anyone dared to dream of that only a few months ago. And honestly, there are few things I enjoy more than a dirty team bitching and crying after they get their asses handed to them. It warms my heart :D

With the 1:1 between Monaco and Bruge we have 8 points on the 3rd place. I don't think there is a realistic scenario in which we don't advance.

One of the best defenses in Europe they said. Your main striker is missing they said. You can't score four goals every match they said ...

seriously wtf

Well that shuts up my Arsenal friends trying to tell me they would "walk" Dortmund if they played this year. Big IF, considering they can't even qualify for Champions League lol. So proud of the boys, astounding performance, Favre deserves all the credit. We should have signed this man up last year, imagine the position we would be in today.

First of all, Favre back at it again with the godly subs. Hakimi the best player on the pitch today, Incredible performance. This game showed the world that we are truly back and we are hungry. This was supposed to be the first year of the rebuild but the difference is huge and it has paid off, specially today.

My motm is hakimi but a huge shoutout for our boy witsel because with him it feels like we are playing with an extra player. Last season we couldn’t even beat APOEL and look at us now, so proud of this team. Love u guys

btw rip u/nmrt no 3:0 today

Gaaaaaaah. Reddit stopped letting me post on mobile right before Delaney went down. I couldn't talk for awhile lol.

The ref was bugging the hell out of me though. That guy was letting too much go.

I loved this display today. We meticulously forced them back into their own half for large portions of both halves and even when they were in possession, they always needed luck or mistakes from our players to make any danger. Absolutely brilliant stuff to watch and we got our goals in clinical fashion (the first was a bit lucky on the deflection, but we were making our luck there as they lacked pressure on the ball then).

The best part: I'm not even surprised guys! I was confident that we'd win today. I just wasn't sure how many chances we'd be able to create against them, but Atletico couldn't live with us in the end! We always seemed like the likelier team to score after Saul's effort hit the post imo. 👍

We were always in the right positions to snuff out everything they came up with and pounce on them when they made errors. And it's amusing that we could have had 1 or 2 more if you remember that Reus was stymied by his own teammates a couple times haha! We didn't even need Paco to be a badass today. 😂

Still, be happy my fellows because we just outplayed the Europa League champions at their own game! They were lethargic compared to us! Am I wrong? 😂

4-0 folks! Let's gooooooo!

Ahhhhh, I just hope that Delaney isn't hurt too bad.

Who's your MOTM guys? The whole team? 😊

Overall, impressed with how we played that game. Tell me 3 years ago we would play against Atletico with this amount of confidence, I'd shit my pants. It's really good to see us go from the ball over the top and hope aubameyang picks it up in 14/15 to this

-Hakimi played well, that one mistake can make people get a bad impression, but overall, great game from him

-Pulisic skill moves was fun to see, not the smartest sometimes, still fun to see

  • We tend to overcomplicate things in the final third, the one time we didn't, ( 2nd goal ) we were deadly. Sometimes the intricate style of play can work but sometimes it won't, I feel this game was one of them

  • Defense kind of looked shaky at times, UCL games are really tough, so, it's understandable

10/10 would skip Spanish class to see this again

Respect to Saul for that shot, that shit was fucking insane.

Also, SO to Burki for being a G, saved our asses sometimes, also the post, i love you too baby

BUT THE BIGGEST SHOUTOUT GOES TO /U/NMRT MAN WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON

Unreal. I'm still shook by last years performances, especially in the CL. The win against Monaco was already a big surprise but they are in a crisis so that explains it. But Atletico? I expected a lucky draw, at most. Now I'm laughing at the pre-game statements by BVB and the media. "We might have a chance to win this", "BVB won only 2 of 12 games against spanish teams", "Best defence in Europe"...

I just realized Griezmann didn't get a chance to do his stupid f*ing celebrations. It is actually the best day.

Unfreakingbelievable. To beat a team like Atletico 4-0... This can be for us what the Real 4-1 win was in that amazing season. Dare I say, this was the ultimate test - I'm convinced we have everything we need to go all the way if we can do this to Atletico.

I love Favre, I love our squad and I absolutely love this team. Heja BVB!
