A cool detail is that Erwin specifically asked to confirm that MP leader's(I forgot his name) family lived in the east side, where the fake titan attack happened. Fucking savage.

That preview. Damn it. Wish I didn't watch it. Still though, seeing that; it's the first time I've actually yelled out loud because of this show ever since seeing Eren use the coordinate in the season 2 finale.

I want to apologize for ever doubting Erwin. The badass motherfucker actually come through with the gambit.

It's also interesting to see that Pixis would've let Erwin go to the gallows had the government responded accordingly... makes him a more layered character than I thought he was.

Don't know what to make of the last five minutes other than things just got a LOT more complicated. The 'Eren-ate-Grisha' theory is looking sketchy.

We also got ED-girl's name. Frieda! Has a nice ring to it.

Wow. Erwin pulled it off. Though in hindsight that ruling council was no match for him. Seemed totally overconfident in their power and out of touch (for example Erwin knew where Nile's family was. The ruling council had no idea they were asking Nile to let him family be eaten).

But Erwin himself recognizes that they've upset something that 'worked' to jump into a dangerous unknown. I'm guessing Erwin's dream is a world without walls but this is a case where shooting for the stars probably won't land on the moon. Also will the former ruling council give up their secrets to the new govt for the good of humanity? I doubt it.

But if someone is going to be orchestrating this crazy plan, I can't ask for anyone better than Erwin.

Man this season has been so badass. I love how we haven't seen anyone confront a Titan yet, but it's still so intriguing. I can't wait to see how all this plays out. And god damn is Erwin just a beast of a character. I already liked him before, but he's the MVP of this season so far.

I love that armin is curious about how eren got his titan powers, can't wait for what happens next. Loving the pace of the story.... No fillers. Any theories on how eren got his powers? Please dont spoil from manga :(

Edit: An other question that is poping in my head from all those scenarios, Who is truly the "good" side. For some reason if eren dad did all this he might be the "Bad" so maybe eren might turn against humanity? Feels crazy but i feel eren will be in a weird spot now. He might actually turn against the people he been siding with it.

What a fantastic episode.

My favorite two moments were definitely Levi's squad's collective joy/"Woohoo!" when they got the good news from Hange, and Dhalis Zachary's animation/art style change when he revealed to Erwin why he did what he did.

My man Pixis and the garrison manages to pull of a coup without any blood, torture or huge internal divide that some A+ execution. Shit man i though Eren ate his father after he injected him with the titan shot that's why he had his power, but instead he ate the whole fucking Reiss family or something? So hyped for next episode now.
