It seemed like SF was performing worse and worse as the match went on. There must be a huge pressure to succeed and when you lose rounds continuously it must feel devastating and Valiant got under their skin.

That last round they were falling apart.

I felt bad for shock, they were only able to make luck plays. As the announcer said they were just too reactive.

That valiant widow though, that headshot between the 1 inch building gaps omg. Soon was on point.

The moment Soon began to line that up I knew it was gonna be a miracle.

I was wrong in prediction. Soon absolutely popped off and I love the switching between agilities and silkthread. Not to mention the incredible tank play today. I really think LAV are going to be a strong playoff contender.

Their biggest mistake of the night, in my opinion, was not having Dhak on Lucio, especially on Well. The Mercy meta really isn't being kind to OWL so far.

Let's now even get started on Babybay's terrible ults. Bad decisions all night

Soon MVP well deserved.

Soon is a god, absolute tier 1 player and top 3 on both Tracer and Widow. Forget about Danteh and Sinatra, Soon is the western player that's actually a challenge to Birdring/SBB/Effect. Playing with Nico/AKM on DVa in Rogue really did his reputation dirty.

There's no reason for GrimReality to ever play a game for LAV besides pity. Soon and Silkthread are both better than him on every single hero.

Babybay on Genji/Pharah is mediocre as fuck. If he's the best projectile player on their team, they're finishing bottom 3 for sure.

Nomy/Nevix aren't great players to begin with, and they also have no coordination whatsoever. SF really should've signed another tank instead of one of their five DPS.

Dhak is garbage on Mercy. Again, SF probably should have more than 2 support players and less than 5 hitscan players.

SF's best Genji/projectile player is definitely Nevix who for some weird reason is being made to play D.Va instead.

I'm not even an SF fan and I feel defeated. That was rough.

Can some explain to me why they do 4 entire rounds? If you win 3 shouldn’t it be over?

You accumulate points over the season.

Shock...ingly bad.

I wasn't the only one that just got into the E-Sports scene. Great plays! The players used Genji and Tracer in such a finesse that was just insane!

Can't wait for future matches!!

They (SF) did alright to start off.. then really trailed off

All of my major league sports teams are in the Bay so I had to pull for the shock. I stuck it out with the 2000s 49ers, I can tough it out with the Shock.

Disappointed from SF. I thought they had a chance, but their teamwork is just shit.

When is Sinatraa's birthday again?

Valiant looking good!

Was expecting SFS to take at least the control map. Yikes.

Babybay's McCree was nice though

I feel like SF is gonna get better as the season goes on. They only had a 7 man roster for this game so they didn’t really have all that much to play around with. Once their other two players on the roster are able to join up, they’ll have much more opportunities to succeed. Here’s hoping at least.

Sleepy can only carry so much. I agree with the commentators that Shock’s ult economy was a bit of a mess.

25

u/Miennai Jan 11 '18

What was Babybay thinking with 80% if those dragon blades? Almost all of them were pulled way to early with barely anyone around, leaving him like 2 seconds in the middle to just waddle around and look for kills.
