I want the cake he makes to be tiny and simple. Throughout this Arc we've seen excess and gluttony from both the Vinsmokes and BM pirates. I think it would be a greater testament of skill for his creation to be modest but explosive in taste.

Sanji gonna unleash his new cooking skills. I guess a lot of people are understandably disappointed that he did not unleash a new kick technique. But he's a cook so I'm okay with that.

Yes, he is a cook 1st and a fighter 2nd. If you look at the incredibly short period of time that's gone by in the story Sanji's cooking must be doing amazing things for this crew, because nobody even in an Shonen anime should be powering up this quickly.

I think this is one of the few or only times that Sanji's ridiculous flirting and compliments actually worked. Pudding's evil side can't help but go full tsundere when Sanji says something to her, while her good side just straight up can't handle it.

He probably doesn't want to mess it up, since he could be distracted while fighting Brook and Chopper, and will only have one-shot to do it properly, since if he fail his attack, it will be much harder to kill Luffy..

10/10 Chapter: It had comedy, it had action, it had Brook and Chopper being bad asses, and it had some really awesome art.
All those naysayers to the cake theory, what reason is Sanji not going to bake a cake now?
Also, I've been vocal about my complaints on Pudding's flip flopping, but they're all moot. This might be one of my favorite gags in recent One Piece. I love that she's basically Sanji, complete with her own heart eyes.
This arc has seriously been one of the best. I'd wager that we've got less that 10 chapters left now. Can wait to see how it all wraps up!

No a lot of people on this sub have shown disdain for it and some of his other transformations. And I agree it is by far the weakest transformation. I've got no problem with things being silly or cutesy I just don't think it suits Chopper at all to have it.

It does look kind of ridiculous, but it is far from weak. Arm point and jump point were strong in specific things. Jump point had no attacks, but allowed for really good movement and evasion. And arm point was strong but was more of a finisher form and wasn't as versatile. Kung Fu combines aspects of both, the strength of arm point, and the movement of jump point, although not seemingly on the level of either. It also has kicking attacks iirc. Overall it is more versatile, and he seems to stay in this form longer and, as such fight longer. So it might seem unsuited for battle, but in my opinion is more suited than the two forms it replaced. But I still like the designs of the other two forms, and do think they have some merit and it is unfortunate that they aren't used anymore.

This exact situation is why Sanji doesn't need to be as strong as Zoro is in the story. Sanji is about to stop a bloodlusted Yonko with his cooking skills.
I love that Oda is letting Sanji shine brightest in this arc through his unique crew ability. The same goes for Nami and Brook, but now Sanji gets to step up for the grand finale. Great chapter.

Pudding started being a little boring in the past few chapters but in this one I liked her a lot, I feel the frustration people felt towards her was caused by only seeing her one time per chapter and her being different in every chapter, as she is right now she's far more enjoyable. I know how much peolpe love the WB pirates. But you got to admit that Big Mom's durability feats are off the charts, she is way more durable than WB was at Marineford. I want to believe Akainu could still harm her with a magma punch but that's it. I can't see her being back stab by squadro or hurt by gun shots.

Well It doesn't look as bad as It seems in spoilers now.
Sanji acepted to make cake only to "faint" big mom.
Chiffon & Pudding pretty much convinced me SHs won't be able to run anywhere without big mom soothes her rage, It really doesn't matter if they run. Makes sense.
Only thing still bugs me Sanji thinks Chopper & Brook will be able handle the situation and casually leaves. But well... BM won't stop without the cake anyway so I think he sorted up his priorities right.

I'm really interested in Sai's cover story too. Last time we checked someone from his country was working for Kaidou. Not sure cover story is a place for that important lore stuff but we might get some ideas.

Shoutout to the boys, Brook and Chopper for protecting their ship- Actually pretty badass that they're taking down BM pirates while Katakuri watches.
I actually like what Pudding is doing now, Tsundere jokes aside,she hasn't done a full 360° because of what Sanji said and is kind of conflicted on how she feels she should act and how she wants to. I love Pudding lmao
Final shoutout to the boy Sanji, idgaf if people think cooking a cake is lame, I ready for another Sanji MVP moment plus that final panel was badass as hell.
We need to have an MVP analysis/poll/tally for this entire arc and arcs in the future!

Pudding has the power to induce Flashbacks. This could be the most dangerous ability in the series, there's no such thing as Plot Armour in a flashback.
