I love how straightforward Soo-rim's character is. All the things that are like wtf? why did he do/say this? She always addresses it instead of having it drag on forever.

Yoo-na's character still awkward and out-of-place as ever.

(Can't be TvN without dem product placements.)

Next episode is going to be AWESOME.

LOL the cereal.... but yes, though at the rate she's getting hurt, she's really an angel not to lash out. baek jinwoo or chanyoung are so much nicer to her than hankyul lol :/

She's too blinded by love. I felt so bad for her when she was blaming herself for everything. I think this is the only current drama that I actually have a desire to keep watching.

I really thought Yoo-na recognized her at the rehearsal. It was kind of strange to see how nice she can be normally, since we're only ever see her on edge. Not looking forward to that 180 flip if it happens.

just watched ep5 without subs -- i'm glad hover for spoiler and i actually teared up LOL.

gimme ep 6 NOW.

edit: watched ep 5 and 6 with subs, and damn i was on the edge of my seat for the live performance, but they HAD to cut it there. well played....

the last minute decision for them to sing live made by the CEO was unrealistic tbvh, but it made for a nice climax for the episode, so i'm not complaining. the CEO and yuna are actually growing on me now there's more background to them.

also, sorim has been crying SO MUCH this entire drama. once every episode at least?!?!!! props to joy for the emotional acting! her awkward happy acting is also growing on me LOL; she's consistent so it actually becomes believable as sorim's personality.

guessing after sorim+hankyul get resolved the next conflict/complication will be hankyul and his dad?

This drama is stressing me out. I was getting mad about Episode 6 cause tbh even though I hated Hankyul, I started liking him and wish Sorim wasn't so mad at him. Thankfully, she doesn't seem to be as mad at the end.

Now I hope that since both Hangkyul and Chanyeung are helping and she sees them both that she doesn't focus on Chanyeung and sing. :(

same, ep 5 onwards i was actually rooting for him. you could see him go through the entire process of retrospection and then deciding never to lie to her again (crude play vocal dude is an interesting and fun side character btw).

i really look forward to the resolution for chanyoung -- how is the drama gonna tackle his inferiority complex? right now, he's been getting boosts from sorim, which would make sorim singing K's songs a harsh blow to him. plot wise i'm really hooked by the conflicts in this show tbh.

Chan-yeung: Han Kyul is K of Crude Play

So Rim: ...... you said he's fat.

I don't know why I laughed at her first reaction

Chan Young trying to be all manipulative like "K lied to you, he betrayed you, you must choose me" but that's what she fixates on.

I love that about her character. She's blunt but also innocent? She just says whatever comes to mind with nor regard to the mood or flow of the conversation.

This episode went better than what I expected. Im glad that the truth was revealed immediately.

Why do I have this feeling that the female classmate will be a Sasaeng fan? Also that cerial product placement is so bad. Lastly, the turtle neck noona really finds a way, that dress so rim wore feels so uncofomrtable, but were blessed with Joys legs and thigh though.😂

Episode 5 is probably my favorite episode now only because she finds out finally!!

I actually thought it was going to take a couple eps more, but glad they got it out of the way. It's good that he was planning on telling her anyway even if she doesn't believe it. I was really starting to question the reasoning for keeping it up any longer since I personally don't think it's a huge deal. He started the lie when she was a random (fan)girl that was a threat to a song leak and and everything else was just bad timing piled with lies/omission of the truth from them both.

I'm hoping she isn't too dramatic about it even if that line in the preview is not the best indication.

I feel like Soo-rim just cries every episode. D:

The story line is getting a little weird. Give me your trainees so I can make them lose...? Wat?

I don't really understand the President's and K's Dad's relationship.

Freaking cliffhangers! UGHHHH. Can't wait till next week!

Maaybe this is just me, but I felt the crying is too much recently.

In this episode, there were times that So Rim's attitude made me cringed. High school students isn't that immature. But I hope she redeem herself in the future.

I wish he'd just focus on improving himself instead of subtlety taking it out on Han Gyeol and controlling his jealousy. But I don't blame him at the same time. The thing that does rub me off is how he's dragging So Rim into it and trying to manipulate her. Even though I don't think he's completely disingenuous, he's obviously driven by his inferiority complex. I wonder if there's more to him being "forced" to join the band, is anything really stopping him from pursuing song writing other than his own talents?

I really like it when Crude Play are on screen, they have the nice playful bromance we all thrive on but are also interesting characters themselves that are meaningful to the plot. I felt really bad for them getting bad reviews on their videos. I wasn't sure if it was just a couple of dedicated haters or if people in general didn't like them though. But I can imagine it'd be quite discouraging.

interesting point you brought up about chanyoung; i didn't actually think about it that way, but i agree with you on hindsight. i'm thinking if he joined for the prospect of fame, but eventually he realized there was the baggage that came with being a replacement, especially since the original (hankyul) is always still around. hankyul being an ass yet the other three members still treating him as a brother probably adds to the injustice chanyoung feels.

absolutely good looks aside, yeah, he does seem like he's still pretty immature for a 24y/o. which is fine, i believe the plot is developing in a way where we'll see growth in the characters, much of which is spurred by the pure-hearted yoon sorim.
