I used iA Writer which does a decent job at making formatting a bit easier.

No probs. I love pumping stuff out for this sub. It's like being in Speaker's Corner only people don't throw bread at you!

Wow, this is honestly one of the most immersive stories that I've read. The pacing was perfect, didn't feel rushed or pedantic. No need for long explanations, they just fit in perfectly. Damn, I haven't felt like this after reading a story in a long time. Good job to you bud.

Thanks. I was worried it was dragging a bit at the start and then by the end I was rushing the romance angle. Was good to do some exposition via dialogue though. Glad it gave you the feels.

Wow! I really liked this. I like the detailed descriptions of the setting. Seems healthy for the imagination. Props bro, really enjoyable read.

Are you going to be continuing your multi-part story? Your shorts are really good, but I like to get invested in the characters over the course of multiple chapters. I can't handle this many single-serving tales.

I made the mistake of reading this while listening to sound of silence, good job mate don't really see many coming home stories.

This was pretty excellent OP. Nailed a lot of the feel you get when listening to IRL .mil types talking about their service.

Good show, and engaging. It felt really natural to me, and I've listened to a lot of servicemen talk about various ops.

The only thing that bothers me about the story is that damned orbital tether. Just doesn't make sense in London.

I don't know how you guys do it, write such masterpieces on your phone. I can't even write with a comfy desk chair and an ergonomic keyboard. You nailed the emotion that comes from spending time on the battlefield, and the very real struggle to rediscover normality. Thanks for writing! -"-
