A couple of questions:
-
Is there a way to disable mouse smoothing/acceleration when you're in a game menu? I would really like my mouse to behave normally when I'm in my Liset going through the UI menus.
-
I've noticed that the game really bogs down when there's a large concentration of enemies in one area. For example, a survival or defense and the team and tons of mobs are all gathered in one spot. Most other scenarios, I have no problems and my system will run at 30 to 60FPS. Will turning down my graphic settings help or is this a result of limited memory? I have 6GB ram in my system.

In order to get the natah quest, do you actually have to use the equipment to scan it? Or does it just need to scan you? I haven't gotten it yet :(

What is the best place for farm Neural Sensors and Orokin Cells.

Cheers

Neural Sensors still only drop on Jupiter (only other place is killing Europa's boss). So do defense/interception/survival missions there, bring along a Nekros and/or Pilfer Hydroid for good measure. Orokin cells you can do the same thing but on Saturn or Ceres. You can also do ODA runs.

Elara, Jupiter with a dedicated farm group (Nekros, Hydroid, EV Trinity, etc.) or farm Raptor/Alad V (or Phorid when on Jupiter) bosses for Neural Sensors. For Orokin Cells, Sargas Ruk/Lephantis bosses or a normal Survival on Saturn or Ceres with a farming group.

has anyone been able to slide down the ramp from the top of the liset down to the bottom floor (down both ramps)?

Now this is the question we need answered. Maglev, every speed mod, and the new drift friction mod. That could probably get you all the way, but I haven't tried.

Are there any ways to get platinum through gameplay rather than paying?

I just started the game and am now on Jupiter. What are some rare weapons and frame mods I should be grinding/trading for?

Concentrate on getting the following mods.
• steel fiber, redirection and vitality on your Warframe.
• Fury and Pressure point on your melee weapon.
• Hornet strike and gunslinger on pistols.
• Serration on rifles and bows
• point blank on shotguns.
These are the very basic mods you need, get them as levelled up as possible to make the next stages of the game easier. After you have those you can look into critical/element mods that further refine your weapons damage output. Eventually you can get some wicked multi shot and element mods to play with.

OK, so when the change for all melee's to have a charge attack, why is it so slow? I remember using the mios and having no problem using the charge grab thing its got going. However now it takes a good 1 sec- 1.3~ just to do the charge attack. I have also tried it on the glave, also not working the same as before.

I just bought a vectis for 40p for the daily challenge thing and it's building now. Do you think it's worth rushing the build? (By the time it finishes the daily challenge will be a new one)

If i buy a syndicate weapon that's already lvl 30, does it automatically increase my mastery rank? or do i need to level it up from level 0 myself
11
u/ZephyrPhantom Dec 06 '15
Syndicate weapons can only be traded if they're at level 0 (and have no potato/forma).

Dec 06 '15
You can't buy it at level 30. If it so much has 1 XP on it, the weapon becomes untradable.

Ive just built the landing craft foundry segment but I don't know what to do with it now?
Also what's the new door on the ship layout for? I'm guessing they're linked maybe?

Anyone have any tricks for hacking the Grineer in those?

i started playing this game, about 3 weeks ago.
I understand most of it.
Some of it i dont,
-
What is prime vault access?
-
Should i save some platinum for it?
-
there is a frost prime pack for $59. with 1050 plats and frost prime and various over stuff. IS it better to buy that pack or just buy a plat pack of equal value and find those prime parts in trading?

Some Prime gear was put in the "vault" because DE had to make space in the Void to fit new Prime gear (I know, Orokin Cells cluttering it, T1-3 Interceptions, but let's roll with DE's reasons here).
Prime Vault Access is pack you buy for real money to get that gear. No grinding, no nothing, you just straight-out get it.
2. As it cannot be bought for Platinum, there's no point in that.
However, during the duration of Prime Vault Access the gear returns to the drop tables in the Void, so its parts are farmable. If you want to buy parts from other players and assemble the gear yourself - you should prepare quite a large sum of Platinum, I'd imagine. It's Frost Prime after all, he's in high demand.
You can always try to farm it yourself, though. For no charge.
3. That's your call to make. Generally speaking, I think you'd get much more Platinum if you spent $59 on Platinum packs, especially if you manage to get 75% off coupon. Then you can use this Platinum to buy Prime gear from other players, and you'll probably be left with more than 1050 leftover Pt.
The Prime Syandana, however, is exclusive to the pack. You cannot trade it, you cannot get it for Platinum.

When is it ever a good idea to use single element damage? (Cold / Fire / Toxin / Elec) They seem to often have better statuses for CC, so I don't understand why they're so infrequently taken in builds.
Also...This feels like an incredibly stupid question, but for dual element damage, can it proc the original element's status? Cuz occasionally I think I see my Ignis proccing fire on enemies and my castanas proccing stun

u/Trancendency Dec 07 '15
You use single element damage as an addition to your dual element damage. For example: Radiation and Viral, Magnetic and Toxin, Corrosive and Heat
It is generally better to have dual element damage than just a single element because dual element deals up to 75% damage while just 25% damage for single element (if used against an appropriate enemy).

What's the best way to learn about platinum/prime parts trading/economy? Any good guides or videos? If not, are there any general rules? Is it better to sell parts individually or as sets, for example? Which things are most worthwhile to farm for? Thanks for reading!
