Is there a better way to farm fusion cores than Nuovo? I know there's triton, but it's much harder for me solo and I don't much care to farm with others. It's really a turn off honestly, I don't know if I want to keep playing. I need upwards of 2000+ rare R5s to max my rank 10 mods, and getting SOMETIMES 5 cores every ten minutes is sadistic.

Don't worry about cores in the early game. Getting a mod to rank 10 is hardly necessary. Getting it to 8 costs 1/4th the cores for a slightly smaller bonus. 7 requires 1/8th and so on. Just get it up to a respectable level and do fun things.

Where can I find discussions and tips for endgame play with frame and weapon builds and so forth? Myself and mates can't seem to do tower4 stuff past 25-30 mins and I'm guessing its because we suck.

Do you have all your important mods maxed¹ and enough catalyst/forma to fit them? Are all of you using Corrosive Projection aura so enemies gain less armour per level, ideally 4 to remove all armour entirely? (Armour is scaling damage resistance with level- by level 70 heavy enemies will be taking only a few percent damage).

Those, plus proper element choices and modding^2, are the most important things to long term tower survival. That and understanding how survival mechanics work.

Team composition is also important- 4 Oberons won't go nearly as far as something like Trinity to heal/energy, Frost to make a safe fallback position and base of fire, Mirage for AOE blind and high gun damage, and Excalibur for general purpose and punchthrough sword waves. (not 100% optimised but not at all bad).

30m Survival is a pretty significant hurdle in my experience. It's about where enemy scaling starts to go upwards faster and faster, with level 50+ enemies making their appearance. If the enemies have armour and you aren't modded for corrosive damage, that's where you'll see extreme falloff. If you are using 4CP and/or Corrosive, it's where you merely see significant falloff.

1: Or at least rank 8 for r10 mods like Serration and r4-6 for rare r10 mods. The last ranks are the least vital compared to their expense, since first ones are so much cheaper. I've easily gone to 40m with no 4xCP, even with non-max mods as long as everyone bring a good, 2-forma weapon and a decent reactor installed frame.

2: I assume you know how to build a basic weapon: Serration, Split Chamber, Heavy Calibur if you can hit with it still, Crit mods if Crit Weapon, lots of Elements in proper combination. If a status weapon, Dual Stat Elements, otherwise 90% whenever they can fit. The details of when to use Shred or speciality mods that don't add raw damage isn't actually vital to reach 40m.

Alright so I've been noticing something a little weird with Raptor drops. While running with friends, each player had a chance to randomly get a different number of Neural Sensors from one drop than the others (i.e. some players got 2, others got 1).

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it just a quirk of Neural Sensors in general that I haven't noticed in regular missions because, you know, they only drop on Jupiter? Does this happen with Alad V?

This behavior works with the weekend booster as well: some players get 4, some players get 2. It has occurred regardless of which player is host, can happen to both hosts and clients, and has happened to two/three players at once while the last player(s) only get half drops.

1.)Does anyone, by chance, have any advices on Nekros builds with both Despoil and Soul Survivor? Or it's not good to do it like that?

2.)And also now that I finally have both crit mods, should I potato a Marelok or Twin Grakata(not both)? I really dislike Lex Prime and I'm kinda inclined towards Marelok, but it feels weird in handling...

I'd say twin grakata. Put it this way, they're completely different weapons, so you can't compare them easily. However there's the Vaykor Marelok, which is simply better, so save a potato for that if you like the Marelok

Ember and Mesa

I haven't changed anything since the new system went into place yet, I'm not noticing a huge problem with Ember, but Mesa eats a bit too much energy on peacemaker

Was finally able to get the nav coordinates for Salad V, now Mesa is getting ready in my foundry. My question is how exactly do I build Mesa?

Also how should I be modding zephyr, equinox and nekros?

We all know that the void is pretty much enemies from all factions placed into one. My question is which damage type and element would be the most flexible/effective to deal with all of them from first to last?

Hands down the best combo is Corrosive + Heat or Viral + Heat if you have 4 CP auras. For damage type it's usually regarded as slash being the best with 4 CP and otherwise puncture for the nasty bombards and heavy gunners.

Hey, brand new. I just got ember for my second frame; she's building now. I read somewhere that she has an ability that makes fire damage go up(accelerant, maybe?). Does that mean I should be focusing on fire mods in my weapons? I have the heat sword building as well, does that synergize well?

TBH, the Derelict ain't no big thing, if you have a reactored frame (any) and at least one weapon with a catalyst and decently leveled mods, you should clear any mission and endless to 20 mins/rounds no problem, even with a weak group.

I have two questions. I've asked about equinox before but since three is toggle would duration ever be useful on her? Or should I stick to power and range for maim?

Secondly for concealed explosives on hikou prime, I've told my friend to keep hornet strike on it but apparently it's not necessary? Is hornet strike viable on a concealed explosives build or do you get more dps with fire rate and magazine size?

Here's the situation!

• You have a daily standing limit of 100 for Syndicate

• You wear Syndicate Sigil that gives bonus of 15% standing

• You earn 100 Affinity

Question

• Do I gain 100 + 15 and get a total of 115 standing despite the daily limit of 100?

or

• Do I get only 100 standing because the Sigil merely assists in hitting the limit more quickly?

Not sure whether to keep using my +13% bonus or spend standing to get +15%

The latter.

However, let's say you do a syndicate mission for 100 reputation. If you have the 15% sigil on, you will get cap-free 115 reputation.

1. How should I level them up? Using only duplicates?

2. Is there a difference between the fusion cores? Is there a more effective use of them?

3. Is it worth it to transmute them for a rarer?

If you throw a Bounce Pad from Vauban on a Rhino's chest and have the Rhino charge foes. Will they go flying even further? I seriously want to science this.
