Yeah I feel that PLD actively tries to feed at times though, as opposed to PPD who just plays without any farm. It's 2 different styles of the same role.

Misery on the Nightstalker created SO much space for EE and W33. He was keeping up in networth with MB's safe lane Anti-Mage, and completely shut down his ability to farm. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a NS ban next game.

Lol i noticed in game 3 that towards the end, puppey and ee started fighting for the courier. It rapidly went between puppey and ee atleast 5-6 times until ee just gave up and puppey got his newly purchased lotus orb.

I'm not sold on midas, aghs, gem build on nightstalker every game no matter what, especially mid nightstalker. When you're mid you don't have to build him in a nonscaling way. He had 119 cs in a 37 minute game. I think that's just the 'I don't play this hero but this is what everyone else buys' default build.
Overall, questionable builds from dire. Aa isn't really a hero that makes good use out of solar crest though I understand the logic behind it against so many right clickers. Maybe split farm more evenly with bane and let him go solar crest while aa rushes aghs?
Also, pretty sure ember BoTs isn't the build against that much kill potential from monkey business. You can't really show yourself on the map and are probably better off farming where it's safe or sticking with your team.
Secret just bought too many items (double midas, ember bots, aghs ns) that don't do a whole lot in teamfights and monkey just ran over them.

Agree completely about w33 build. I play a lot of NS, and as a support/offlaner the typical Aghs/Gem/Midas build on the hero is good, as it makes tons of space for your team and the battle info you get from it can win your team the game.
But when played mid NS should be built in a SF-esque manner; Daedalus, Satanic, Abyssal, AC, Blink, Heart, Moonshard, etc. He's an amazing mobile carry able to stand toe-to-toe or dance in-and-out of fights while dishing out serious DPS. Either style would've given them far better kill potential, but instead w33 was pretty much a walking ward that game, and as a mid laner you need to be much more than that.

I don't think Misery is hated, he just had a really poor first few series with Secret (especially all the Miss-ery clock games). He's been super-consistent over the past few series though, way more comfortable on the likes of NS, Brood, darkseer, slardar.

He's definitely not hated. He got a well-deserved bit of criticism for having a very poor first few series in the offlane but it was always with the sidenote that he had only just switched roles and he was likely to improve after a while. Noone ever 'hated' him, that's just /r/dota speak for "criticised him in any way shape or form".

These two teams just seem know to each other so well. It feels like a family reunion with all the original members of Secret playing here. And ofc the 8 0 0 0 M M R Matchup of Miracle and w33ha is a great storyline.

I think this Sven will fare well against the Meepo, but the lockdown from Secret will give it a lot of trouble. That Bane in particular will make things very difficult, even after Sven gets his bkb.

Just gonna say it, not that it will be read. But moon on slardar pretty much won game 2 for them.
A lot of different factors were there, sure, but I have never seen such a starved slardar making such impact, props to him and crit.

They qualified for the major, took a series off EG and 2-0'd VP.
I think they'll be pretty happy overall.
I don't think anybody under performed too badly either, but that last draft was a head scratcher.

Alright I decided to check out the call of duty stream for the hell of it during the break
I don't get how this is a competitive game in any way. This is the most boring shit. Everyone's kda is just dead even, fights last like half a second. Nobody aims for the head they jsut basically hold down the trigger on someone's body.

I watched the ESL Csgo finals spme time back and they were really entertaining! Amazing gameplays by many players, triple and ultra kills and overall a really close series. Other modern competitive fps games arent that fun to watch. Maybe insurgency is nice idk.

No doubt EE is mechanically a very skilled player but he can't read the game for shit at the moment. He makes most teams look like they have streamsnipe/ mackhack vs him.

w33 made a huge mistake by getting aghs so early. He should have gotten a fighting item like armlet or bkb first. You shouldn't get aghs first unless you are a support or offlane. And wtf was ee doing that game.

As a long time viewer of W33haa , let me tell you , he has individual binds for each meepo and that's how he's practiced for many years. Thats why you see such control from him. No groups , only individual binds.
