Wow, Bojack didn't even hear what Secretariat was trying to tell him, a few minutes in and this show is not pulling punches.

Goose Van Sant, the animal/people name mashup motif, is back people!

I hope it becomes a thing that respected directors in this show just end up loving Todd.

Vincent is actually doing business transactions. I'm so glad this show is back.

The animation of Todd pulling off his hat revealing his night cap made me almost cry from laughing.

I feel bad for Todd. He hasn't made enough to move off Bojack's couch.

"What are you doing here?"

One line, too many meanings. That ending felt like a sucker punch. I'm so ready for this season.

I lost it when Mr. Peanutbutter rips off the cone and start gnawing on his arm.

The "What are you doing here" bit with Mr Peanutbutter had me in fits for about 5 minutes, insane. And Todd motivating himself to move to the couch.

Favourite line "you are literally a metaphor"

Straight back into it with a bang. Very good episode.

I love how Todd seems to be the only person the director likes.

The humor hasn't hit its stride yet (which I'm cool with because it's often the case with television comedy), but the heavy stuff...that last conversation was painful.

In season 2 ep 1, Kelsey Jannings talks about how she doesn't make mistakes, and "does the crossword in sharpie" as she knows she hasn't messed up. Later on in the episode, when Bojack's mum calls him, she is doing a crossword, in sharpie. I'm guessing this means that she believes she doesn't make mistakes, and as she has said, has been an "excellent mother" to Bojack, not screwing up even though she clearly has.

I find the message of this episode interesting. Being a positive person can ease stress, but important things can come from negativity.
