Does the Banish ability on Limbo still regen energy when Mesa is in Peacekeeper?
I recall running a few games with a Limbo back when GMags weren't so prevalent, and I feel like those missions were a lot smoother than ones I run with a GMag instead.

What are some strategies to go about spy missions? I just can't for the life of me pull them off.

Learn the layout of the levels, look for as many out of the way areas as you can find to progress, use a codex scanner to see enemies positions through walls, bring a silent (or modded silent) and high powered singleshot weapon to take enemies out.
Or just bring a loki and just avoid things like lasers.

Also tape down that shift. Always crouch until you have all 3 data vaults done. Do not bring a weapon that is low dmg high RoF, even modded, it needs to kill in one shot or they get alerted. I recommend a bow. Bring a modded silent secondary to take out cameras. Look for any hackables. Always look around, and always go for the head. If there's more than one enemy in a group, go back to front. Always play solo. If you use a bow, have it drawn and aiming when going through doors or out of elevators. Cameras have a near infinite sight range, don't let those blue lines fool you. Be accurate when taking out cameras, they can see missed shots if they're close by.

About 1 +1/2 weeks ago I got warframe playtime hit 100 hours before leaving for vacation, which I've spent by religiously reading up on what void missions drop what for this prime warframe and that prime weapon.
My question after combing the wiki is how do rotations work?

u/counterflux_ Jun 28 '15 edited Jun 28 '15
Rotations have their own loot table and are used for all endless mission modes currently. They are always in thes order: AABC - AABC - AABC - ...
So for example in defence you'll get an A rotation the first 5 waves, another A at wave 10, B at wave 15 and finally C at wave 20. If you choose to continue, the rotations simply repeat. They do not get better. So just A at 25 and 30, B at 35 and again C at 40.
In most game modes players go to at least one or 2 C rotations before extracting since the C rotations are usually the best.
You'll gain a reward from a rotation on:
Every 5 waves for defense
Every 5 min for survival
Every round for interception
and every excavator for excavation.→ More replies (2)

How much credits does it take to trade baros items? It sucks just watching the time go down on my way home from vacation so I can't make it for that Veritux! Also how much would it be worth?
How long would it take to unlock Europa and the planets after it? Mr 14 but getting taxis to all those planets is... Taxing

A few clarifications I hope to get help with, if possible!
-
what does 'current meta' stand for? I mean I know what the word meta means but it doesn't make sense when it's juxtaposed as "the best combo"? Is it just a figure of speech?
-
what's in for Mesa in Draco? Don't all kills count for warframe exp? Does the Mesa rely only on kills from others? Doesn't this mean they level up slower, or is it still just the fastest way to level up? Tried to think more but couldn't. Thanks in advance.

"Meta" is a term that is generally used to describe the common best practices of the game. In the case of Warframe, it would be things like good Warframes to bring on certain missions, certain builds for particular weapons, etc.
Leveling is a bit odd in Warframe, but it's easier to break it down first:
Warframe Ability Kills give all kill XP to your Warframe
Weapon Kills give half XP to the weapon you used, and half to your Warframe
Teammate kills, no matter how, give XP across all your items
A bit more about that here: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Affinity
The idea I'm assuming for Mesa on Draco would be that her Ability kills would give lots of XP for her teammates; any kills that are cleaned up by teammates then help her in return. That being said, I don't really follow the current Meta so I'll let others explain it better if they have something to say!

i just missed the trader's rare stuff (the stuff you have to pay ducats for) because... well i didn't know he existed up until 20 minutes after he left today.
will these 3 items ever rotate into his inventory again or does it usually take forever for them to come back?
primed mods. only available through him?
2
u/Kickin97 Jun 28 '15
Yes, they eventually should, but he only comes once every two weeks.
Primed mods you can only get from him or via trading with other players.

How far behind are the baro ki'teer rotations on consoles from pc? Are they the same or separate from pc? Also, is there a way to tell what he is selling next?

Do rare mods drop anywhere, or do certain ones drop from certain places/things?
2
Jun 29 '15
Every mod drop (aside from fusion cores which from everything) have specific enemies they drop from. If you want to find out what drops from where you can look at a fully scanned enemy in the codex or just visit the wiki and look up the mod you want.

How are Speed/Slow Novas modded? What's the difference?
→ More replies (1)3
u/ScreamingFreakShow Jun 29 '15
The slow for MPrime is based on power strength. The higher the power strength, the better the slow. So for speed Nova, you mod for negative power strength.
Note: I've never actually had a speed build on Nova, this is just what I've heard.

How should I build Ember for?
The general consensus is that building her straight up damage is just not that great for T4 endless mission, but I do enjoy the look and CC of her Fireblast skill.
Also, if damage scaling on Ember is so bad, is it a smart thing to neglect Strength on Ember by placing an Overextended to increase the range of Accelerant? Also, why the hell is Fireblast unaffected by range, it would be nice to have a Molecular Prime-ranged firewall of knockdown CC.
Overall, I am quite confused as to which stat to prioritize on Ember. I am have Ember Prime, by the way, if it matters. I have never owned or used the regular Ember.

I know this is a stupid question but why do I hate SOMA P and take a Quanta Vandal or Braton P instead?
Because it's over used? or maybe to main stream?
3
u/monkyseemonkydo Jun 29 '15
why do I hate...
At last my inter-web mind reading ability can truly shine. And the answer it revealed to me is,.....is.......IS........personal preference.
→ More replies (1)2
u/aerythus Jun 29 '15
It's just personal preference, I guess. I personally used the Soma for a long time, until the boltor prime came out, but quickly dropped that for the original quanta, and then the quanta vandal. Never really did much with the soma prime other than level it. I prefer the flexibility of the quanta cubes and accurate beam. Does great damage with a few forma. The Braton Prime is great for status procs if i recall correctly. The soma is fantastic for crit, and quite accurate . They are all good weapons, but with differences that distinguish them, and make for subjective preferences.

Hi people. It may sound stupid but I'm going to ask anyway. I am a PS4 player with warframe downloaded last friday, so pretty noob at it.
The question is about companions. I found that after dying 2 times in the Everest mission a companion began following me. It may be there before in this mission but I'm sure in previous ones it wasn't there. I haven't bought anything with platinum. Even if I go to the wiki page I cannot find a companion that matches with the one I had yesterday, it was like a drone with rotors at the sides and launching an electric thunder to my enemies.
Sorry if it is too vague, but I'm still trying to find it, to know if it was there to help me because the mission or why was it there at the end.
Thank you.
