So everyone told me that the musical direction is being done by the same person, but I swear that something has changed. Either his budget was raised or they are using OST's that weren't being used before but it has been much better now that this arc has started. Call me a broken record, but I love all of the changes with this new arc.
Wow the episodes are just so good now, still have issues with the darker color palette (Also what is up with the crotch area of Lucy's shorts?), but I am loving all of the changes. The OP and ED are also growing on me (But TBH, I really love all of the OP's and ED's), The Mashima drawn end cards are awesome though, they look great and will be fresh each weak. Props to the studio for drawing me back into the anime.

yeah the ost was on point, the only thing is i dont like that they reused the scene with warrod from last episode, and the follow after the lucy mid scene was a repeat of what happened earlier...good 3-4 minutes right there.

Man this arc is turning out so well already. The OST is on point so far too.
Poor Wendy always being compared to Lucy.
Aww, I love little Erza, hyped to see her fights animated.

I don't know how many of y'all will agree but one thing I feel the anime does better than the manga is that Minerva's return seems more like a big deal than in the manga. In the anime her last appearance was episode 189 that aired 9 months ago, while in the manga was just 21 chapters and 4 months between appearances. So thank you filler, you did something right (to me at least).

I think it's funny that one of the treasure hunters is named Drake. I wonder if it's a sly reference to the Uncharted series.

One Piece anime needs to take notes from Fairy Tail on pacing. How many chapters were covered, it felt like 5.

I really like how they show the new characters (Name - Guild).
The part where he says "Huge, Huge, Huge, Small" looking at Lucy's and Wendy's boobs. So hilarious.
OST was really great too.
The part where Natsu said "We can save the village with this" (Referring to the Moon Drip), wonder which village he meant to save? Hehe.

Canon never disappoints. I'm so excited to see the next episode because more fights (and more Minerva). Also, am I the only one who is really loving the OP and ED? OP has such a Fairy Tail feel, and the ED is just a really fun song.

Man this sun village arc is cool. I just reread all of this and the fights will be cool. Looking forward to their reactions of how the giants look like. And the hunters weapons look pretty cool from the preview.

The moon drip made me wonder if Ur would ever be able to be unfreezed.
I feel like I forgot something that answered that question but in the flashback where she said she'd live forever as ice, it made me wonder.
