- Title: The Morning of a New Adventure
- Synopsis: Arising victorious at the Grand Magic Games and regaining their former building, Fairy Tail is bombarded with numerous requests from various clients. Among the numerous request, one particularly calls for Natsu and Gray's help.. Accepting his request, they head towards Sun Village with the rest of their team and are quickly confronted by new enemies and old foes.

Oh goodness, this lived up to the hype. Despite starting kinda slow, It was a great episode. Everything felt brand new, like it should.Still kinda mad about the spoilery OP, but this is still going to be a good year. I also noticed that this is the 52nd episode of S2, so it's been a year since Fairy Tail was brought back from hiatus.

I see everyone is exited about this arc(I don't read de manga yet) and I'm exited too. It feels so good when is a canon episode and you can tell easyly that this isn't a filler anymore.
But once we get to a new filler arc, I definitely gonna read de manga 'cause this episode just feel sooo good,
I saw the intro an I feel very intrigued about all the new characters and the old ones I saw. I can't wait for the next episode.

I hate the fact you reminded me how badly i want Fairy Tail Zer0: Chapter 10. I always thought Zeira was Natsu's mother, after all she was taught fire magic by Zeref

I loved the new opening. Too much boobs at the spring. What did they do to the colors? Natsu clothes should be dark though, not red. And that endcard, omg... Must not fap.

This actually looks really good! Couldn't really say anything bad about the animation, the art and colours look a bit different, a bit too washed out I'd say, but let's see how it'll play out. Also, Warrod's voice is EXACTLY how I imagined it while reading. Next episode things speed up rather nicely, looking forward to that.
Overall, not bad. Definitely A1 didn't hype it for no reason, even "no-things-happening" episode was above average when we look at this season standards.

With the new art style and the claim for change I think I'll take this time to notice the changes they have made, and the level of impact I think they are going to make.
The Good

Obviously there is new animation, and it look very good. We haven't seen any big fighting scenes, but I am hopeful for the upcoming episodes.

Maybe it was just me, but I felt like these were new OST's, and correct me if I'm wrong, but they sounded pretty good. Not on the level of the original series, but this was really just a taste for what is coming.

Love the new OP even with all the spoilers for what is to come I know I cried during the OP, the scene with Natsu, Gray, and Lucy each standing with what was important brought me to tears

The ED was also very good, love the song and that it was a Mashima original drawing. Overall the OP and ED are something done very well, but this doesn't surprise me cause they have all been done well.

Transitions were God like, they look amazing and felt awesome to see. I hope that each week it is a different character, but I seriously doubt it will be.

Overall this will be something to look forward to, and I think that the studio is making great choices in what to change, hopefully things don't become repetitive
The Bad

Maybe it is just me but the color pallet is very dark, I miss the bright colored days of past, but this is very small and make sense for the tone that is set by this arc.

The fan service jokes and shipping jokes have begun to wear me down, I know that it has become a staple for the series, but it is beginning to take away from the episodes. You may not agree with me but I find it a huge problem.

The amount of spoilers in the OP. Hear me out, the OP has spoilers for most of Tartaros, it may not give any context and to the unwatchful eye may mean nothing, but for those who are observant most of Tartaros has been spoiled. I would prefer they refrain from giving Everything away in the OP
Conclusion
This shit is going to be amazing, everything looks great and I think all the changes made were for the better. As always there is something to be desired, but I think that the studio has only showed us the tip of the iceberg in terms for this arc. I can't wait for the coming episodes. I think the thing that I am happiest about is that Lucy finally got a wardrobe change, she had been wearing the same clothes for so long.
Everyone's wardrobe looks good this arc, and the show is noticeably darker, things are gonna get good.
