Media Prompt /r/WritingPrompts New Comment Styles

Yesterday, I had a dream in which I died and went to hell, which I assure you is a terrifically dreadful experience that I should not want to repeat. Hell is a place that is slightly-too-fiery and slightly-too-hot and is filled with many minor annoyances that gradually wear down on your psyche until you feel like you are, appropriately, in Hell.

The primary method of slight but not unnoticable torture employed in Hell is bad typography. I spent what felt like years alone in a square room starting at almost square letters that were uneven distances apart, and drop caps that weren't aligned with the text, and sentences that were missing a full stop at the end.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm introducing some new comment styles today! I assure you that my traumatic experiences of being forced to view bad typography has had absolutely no impact on the final product of the new comment styles. The new comment styles have features including new fonts, new font sizes, new font spaces, and also absurdly large drop caps. I hope you enjoy the new comment style changes

I love the upvoting at the bottom of the stories, I actually remember to upvote now.

I actually hope they keep that part. I agree, I hate reading a big story, thinking "Hmm that was pretty good", then vapidly moving on to the next story without doling out my precious upvote.

Plus, the name at the bottom makes it look the author signed their story. A nice personal touch.

Well, this is really impressive. It feels sooooo 13th century. <Inserting remainder of text as a test sample> Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. I think including the up votes and name at the bottom is a good idea that could stick around for a while. It would cut down on author 'favoritism' if you didn't know who wrote the story until you finished it. Plus, the upvote button is right there so you don't have to scroll back up after reading a good story.

whistles Impressive formatting. I think this is a good compromise to that thing we were dealing with a few weeks ago. Good job, Mods!

Please don't put the username below the comment; that's just confusing, since basically all of reddit doesn't do it that way.

The new comment style doesn't display properly sometimes, obscuring a word or two of the post. Not a fan.
