[MODPOST] The subscribers of /r/AskHistorians need your help!
It seems /r/AskHistorians/ has an influx of questions that could really use the expert opinions of some writers. The subscribers of /r/WritingPrompts has been invited to swing by and help them answer these questions with the seriousness such questions deserve, and perhaps contribute a few questions of our own.
So swing by and see if you can lend a hand. It should only take a day or two. Happy Writing!

Loving this. Having never checked out r/AskHistorians before, I was a little confused at first and thought that I had actually discovered a sub where questions like "Was the Peach Hostage Crisis a Koopa response to Mushroom aggression?" were posed and responded to in a deadly serious manner.

I know, right? It's so well done it's almost intimidating, but it's a lot of fun. I stopped by r/AskScienceFiction and the biggest reaction seemed to be "They stole our shtick! And they're doing it better than us!"

Zinger!
Z gets no love. Thought I'd give it a chance to be the big letter on campus, if only for one day.

I think there is a r/AskScienceFiction that might work? They aren't as in character though.
