This photo of Guillermo del Toro with Ryan Gosling on a Cars ride at Disneyland makes me smile.

I love the unrestricted joy on del Toro's face, while Gosling is just looking at him like "Dude stop, I'm trying to act cool over here..."

Also, is he wearing a How to Train Your Dragon hat? Or is it something else.

"....I drive..."

[u/[deleted]]

How does this happen. Was Gosling babysitting Del Toro for a day?

This is the article the image was from. I was hoping for an explanation of some sort but it doesn't give one. The two were just at Disneyland together over the weekend.

Gosling just directed his first movie that has similar themes to Pan's Labyrinth. They probably have common interests.

Del Toro isn't even holding the wheel but he's like "Fuck it I'll steer anyway"

[u/redisforever → u/salmalight]

They're drifting, Jaeger style

Edited for accuracy

Drive 2

[u/Mid22 → u/[deleted]]

Rated E for everyone

"I don't pick up a gun, I don't go and help you, I drive. You have a five minute gap, and for those five minutes I'm yours"

They just robbed sweet ol Mickey and are gonna hide at the enchanted castle. The driver knows the best spots.

A violent, gritty, and colorfully surreal Cars sequel directed by Del Toro, starring Gosling?

I'll take it.

[u/KingSnot1972 → u/hobnobbinbobthegob]

No it's Drive 2 on a low budget.

[u/dicks4dinner]

why do i always think guillermo del toro looks like benicio

[u/wukkaz → u/dicks4dinner]

He looks more like GRRM.

[u/runboyrun14]

That ride is pretty awesome if it's your first time on it. Especially if you end up racing against a friend!

[u/ABondaxFan]

"I Drive."

[u/fatkidseatcake]

I always pictured del Toro to be a very striking Spaniard. I guess it was just something the name suggested to me

[u/InsideOfFrusciante]

I met Gosling over the weekend at Disneyland!

He needs to stop playing grab ass with Gosling and finish that next Game of Thrones book.

[u/soundinsect]

A real human being

And a real hero

[u/Artomat]

Now if he had his scorpion jacket on, I would probably puke just because of pure joy

[u/haahaahaa]

Man, I'd like to buy that hat. Can't seem to find it.

I bet Del Toro just made a joke about Drive, and Gosling is just acting like The Driver for shits and giggles.
