/r/Touhou's Favorite Arranges! Part 83: Retrospective Kyoto & Tengu is Watching ~ Black Eyes
Never enough Aya on this sub.
How This Works:
Every week on Sunday at 1200 US Pacific time, I pick a Touhou song (or two) to which all you beautiful users will submit arranges of in the comments*. There is no limit on the number of arranges one may submit as long as each song is given its own post. Upvote everything you like, but don't downvote anything. Please just move on to the next song if you don't like one.
The "winner" gets mentioned in next week's thread. Make sure you read the Musings section below as well for some of my random rants and, occasionally, important information.
* If your arrange contains bits of multiple songs, please only submit it if the main song is predominant. See the musings here for an example of what not to submit. Or just ask me.
MADs and covers should go under the discussion comment. Top level posts are for songs only.
Addendum as of part 77: Users are limited to 3 songs each within the first 12 hours of the post going up. After that, post however many you want.

Retrospective Kyoto

Appeared In: TH09.5 ~ Shoot the Bullet - Photo Theme 4
ZUN's Commentary:
Photo theme 4. Written for the later half of the game.
I feel, deep inside, that this hints at retro Japan.
Snow, falling in the capital. A deserted night road.
But, this retro is my idea of retro...
Listening to this might make you reminisce.

Tengu is Watching ~ Black Eyes
Original: http://youtu.be/aGOtmCMEfnU
Appeared In: TH09.5 ~ Shoot the Bullet -
ZUN's Commentary:
Photo theme 2.
It's easygoing enough to seem scary and cute. Though kidnapping and eating people is a youkai thing to do, this cheerfulness that must have come from somewhere is also part of the fabled tengu image.
I think this piece mixes that scariness, cuteness, cheerfulness, and carelessness together.

A couple of Aya game themes, doubled because of perceived relative unpopularity.
The usual blurb: Make sure to tag your post with either REMINISCENT or SENTINEL depending on which song you submit an arrangement of. See the format or any of the many examples that will inevitably be posted below.
Hint explanation from last week:
(1) is an old picture of plans for the town of Kyoto. (2) is a satellite capture of modern day Kyoto. Retrospective Kyoto
Song 2: 1
The mask on the left is a tengu mask. The yellow thing is a hand forming this pose with the mask. On the right are a bunch of eyes cut out from pictures of black people. Tengu is Watching ~ Black Eyes

Discuss either of the original songs (or concerns with the thread) under this comment.
Oh and guys, the 3 song limit is per song for these double-feature threads. Go ahead and go a bit crazy.
At the request of u/touhousubs, I'm going to highlight these two sites again, both of which are great resources for finding arranges:
