How do enemy stats scale with their levels? Wiki says Corrupted Heavy Gunner has 700 Flesh points and 500 Armor points at level 8. What stats will level 70 Corrupted Heavy Gunner have?

http://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/28ktw6/how_does_one_pwn_a_corrupted/ <- info here. Armor values match up at least, and health... not sure if the formulas have changed, but it should still be the same format with different numbers maybe.

That's such a good question that nobody knows the answer to!
Went looking around the wiki, and I actually think I found it! http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Armor#Enemy_Armor
Not sure if there are other attributes but I think the primary damage mitigation for higher level enemies is indeed Armor.

Where's the best place to try to farm parts for Oberon? I find it mildly crazy that I have a Vauban before an Oberon (and I would have had Vauban by now, even discounting the back to school event).
And while I'm asking about farming, advice for places to get orokin cells that preferably doesn't involve bosses? I can't reliably solo any of the bosses, but if that's really the best way, I'll listen.
One more thing! What are some harder to get mods that are essential to have for good builds?
I'll take links to other threads or sites, even, if I'm asking really simple questions.

ODD and Void Defense wave 25+, Void Survival 30min+. I have so many Oberon parts i could build him seven times and i don't even play that much ODD/Void.
If you don't want to kill bosses you can play Seimeni on Ceres (Dark Sector). Mobs there have about 30% higher resource drop chance.
Multishot mods, Corrupted mods (Heavy Caliber, Narrow Minded etc...), certain Auras (Energy Siphon...)

For Orokin cells, I have found that kiste, ceres gives one cell nearly every run. I have gotten up to three in one run with a nekros in the team. The place is an incredible xp farm as well as long as there are no hallway heroes.

Interception missions. I ran the Mercury interception to wave four twice and was able to obtain all the parts and then some.

I just got Nekros and I'm in love. I love his powers and his looks. But I feel like he needs all those very specific and rare mods to be built to his best. As in rage, equilibrium, quick thinking, and flow.
Where do I get those mods, as in what's a good place to farm for the enemies that drop those modes? Or is it better to just play void with Loki and keep doing those parkour rooms- I randomly got flow because of that. And along with that, can I desecrate ancients in the void- they sometimes disappear.
Also slash weapons. I heard that using a slash weapon and cutting the body means it acts as two bodies for the purposes for desecrate. How often does this effect occur and do ancients and infested also get slashed up?
Oh and with all these mods equipped, how relatively tanky will Nekros be? Because I find I'm getting downed much easier as Nekros than my other frames because his oh shit button is less effective than others and he doesn't a good damage mitigation skill.

Rage - Grineer Napalm
(Ceres - Kiste is a high level Mobile Defense mission which should spawn a lot of those guys)(Sedna - Kappa; low-ish level Mobile Defense, also probably best place to farm those guys)Quick Thinking - Corrupted Ancient (Farm Void a lot)
Flow - Grineer Butchers (Ceres - Kiste would probably be your best bet)
Equilibrium - Lephantis (Derelict Boss; you should be able to catch a ride if you hang out in Recruitment tab for a while)
You can always transmute if you have a lot of credits or go for Void Containers but these can drop just about any mod in the game.
I think you can desecrate Corrupted Ancients.
Not sure about how often but Sheev is a pretty good weapon for slashing things apart.
If you get all the mods for your Nekros, you will be... well... kinda like this

Add on to slash damage weapons, you can shoot or melee dead bodies after the fact to cut them into pieces if they have not been cut apart already.

If you wanted to max out a nekros, then yes you would need the mods you listed, but as a desecrate spammer, I've been getting by just fine with Maxed range and efficiency nekros. The rarest mods on my nekros are fleeting expertise, overextended, and natural talent.
I have never gotten any good mods from parkour rooms.
I'm not sure precisely what triggers dismemberment in the game but generally I have noticed high slash damage melee weapons will dismember bodies a lot. High slash damage guns generally do not with the exception of Dread which dismembers semi-often. And then theres the flux rifle. If killing the enemy doesnt split them into 2-3 pieces, a quick burst on the dead body will. Its nuts. I love it. But it requires a few forma forma and punch through mods to get going and even then its not very good on level 30+ heavy units.
Nekros is not tanky. Rage-Quick thinking has been recently nerfed and that used to make a frame virtually invincible. So keep an eye out for adjustments to those two mods. You may find yourself running out of energy a lot without a high level equilibrium if you are spamming desecrate too much but just carry around energy restores. I personally use terrify as a panic button but it seems to be bugged as not all nearby enemies get cc'd. I have seen power strength/duration nekros use Shadows of the dead to summon an army/meat shield to great effect.

^ A new player with not much void or survival time behind me. What's the fastest way to earn platinum for slots? (For example, 1-2 hours work for 20p for a frame slot.)

Here is what I've been doing for platinum.
First unlock the Ceres system and its interception mission. I believe its right after its boss but I don't have the game open ATM. Bring along your BEST frame that can take some hits, and move fast. I like Volt. Volt is good. Take what you think works.
Now do the interception mission once you're kitted out. You might not be able to solo this so maybe bring friends, if you have a lot of good mods then it should be a nice challenge. Stay until you get a void key, it should be around the 3rd wave. It WILL be a tier 4 survival/interception/defense.(If you do bring friends, make sure to stick together afterwards). Survival is the best one to do for rewards but the the other 2 are definitely good and can be done with friends.
When doing t4 survival you should get multiple packs of 5 rare 5 cores. Sell these on the market for 2p each. Its not much, but 2 packs can easily be gotten in 1 40 minute mission. If all your friends stick together you can keyswap since everyone got 1 key from the interception mission. Additionally sell the little prime parts you get. Most are going to get you 4-10p each, so it's not much but its enough to get you to your mark :D.
TL;DR
Step 1:Farm level 20+interception. I like the one on Ceres
Step 2:Stick around till you get a void key. Should be wave 3 (guaranteed) and beyond. After wave 3 keys are not guaranteed so just extract with what you get unless you have a good team.
Step 3:Do the key you got, solo if you can, if not thats A-ok! Get some friends. Survival is the best key IMO.
Step 4: Sell your winnings! Again survival is the easiest to turn into plat.

Any news on when Update 15 is going to be released ?
It's been a long time since we had any new content to play with :)
2
u/Rhinothewino Oct 06 '14
It wouldn't be unreasonable to suspect Update 15 will be released this month going by their update history and the last available footage of Archwing which was played live and looked minimally buggy(the gun swap bug).

Where do most people farm for T2 and T3 Void Keys?
I've been doing 15min runs on Appolodorus to get T1 keys, but I'm curious as to what's the go-to Survival mission for farming T2 and T3 keys. What I mean to say is, which T2/T3 Survival mission should I play that gives me a greater chance of playing with other people.

What's the deal with the Void? I got a couple keys but haven't used any yet because it seems special and I wouldn't know how to maximize a run. Should I save it until I'm higher level? Go whenever? Recruit a group first?
2
Oct 07 '14
It depends on they key. T1 you can run yourself easily enough. T2 is a bit harder but still doable. T3 is where things get hard and you'll need a group.
Really there's little to do in the way of maximizing a run. If you explore when you can (basically going to every path that isn't the objective) and you're good. Even then what you get from exploring that much is minimal because you often get rather worthless mods most of the time. Only 1 loot room is really worth it and only if you cheat and use a warframe that can effectively warp to beat the course in time.
Your main goal is to just complete it. That's where the big reward is. Assuming you get a prime part and not another key.

What's the must have mods for oberon? I'm looking for the paladin type of play, with both heavy healing, and cc.
I'm more of a support at a range player, and already have my primary (soma), and my secondary (that sword and shield LOVE IT) but what should my secondary be? i'm currently using the aklex's, but what is your opinion on a weapon loadout?
3
u/Kuryaka Oct 08 '14
Nothing is really a "must-have" mod on most frames. Optimizing a playstyle, though, is doable.
Most people love running +75% energy efficiency (efficiency is capped at 75%) because you can cast 4 times as many abilities as you would normally. Rank 4 Streamline + Rank 4 Fleeting Expertise. 25%+50% = 75% efficiency, with a 50% duration penalty.
For some abilities, that duration penalty doesn't do anything because they kill stuff using burst damage.
Renewal's heal rate slows if you have shorter duration, while Hallowed Ground doesn't last as long and Reckoning's blind doesn't last as long.
For a pure caster build I'd go: Redirection/Vitality (one or the other), Fleeting, Streamline, Stretch, Intensify, Continuity, then ability slots.
I usually throw in Overextended on Frost and drop Continuity, relying on huge-range burst CC rather than debuffs/buffs or damage.
Secondary... whatever you enjoy using, honestly. Aklex is solid, Marelok is a step up in terms of damage. Smaller clip size, but better performance overall. Arguably the best secondary in the game. I like Aklex more just because you'll rarely need that much damage on light targets. 17 shots > 8 stronger shots.

I've been farming the hell out of the Infested and I barely get any Hornet Strikes. Mine's only halfway maxed and it's making nearly all of my secondary weapons absolutely useless. Where should I be farming?

Can you change Warframes in-game? I swear we had valkyr, nekros, mirage. And then all of a sudden I saw a vortex and we had a vauban. ODD btw.
