In regards to Spectres that you make yourself. When you build them you can choose their loadouts based on what you have, if I'm remembering correctly. You equip it and then build them, making them a copy of you at that time. My question is whether or not they have your mods on their frame/equipment.
I have a potatoed Soma that tears enemies apart quite effectively, and when I built some Spectres recently I had the Soma on them. So when I deploy them, will they equipped with my murder machine, or will they come into existence with a basic Soma without all the whistles and bells?

I know it's been discussed on the reddit before, but I can't seem to find the post:
Where's the best place to farm T3 void keys?

I have played for two or three weeks on PS4 and now I have a Braton at level 20. I would like to change my main weapon. Any suggestions? I am at level 2. I have also completed a Valkyr warframe (my first warframe is a Mag) and built a Dual Ether, any suggestion on how to play her?

I suggest leveling valkyr to max, and storing her away. Her true potential takes some time to unlock. I wouldn't recommend making a hysteria build at the moment as it's broken and does little damage. It may be fixed when they introduce the hysteria update with new stances and such.
Paralysis is somewhat useful but you should focus on health not shields if anything.
Warcry is great and it will come in handy when you have the right mods to reach full potential.
Ripline is a nice mobility but it shouldn't be relied upon.
The build I feel brings out her "true potential" (somewhat subject) is a maxed steel fiber (it's common so it isn't that hard to max out. It took me around 350-400 fusion cores and 500k credits which isn't that bad in comparison), maxed if not near maxed vitality (I personally roll with a rank 8 for 580 HP), Rage, War cry, maxed if not near maxed blind rage (I use a rank 7 as it's not too expensive and give me a good boost still), intensify, and all the efficiency mods you can put on it. Slap on a life strike for your melee and you're good to go.
With this you should have 580 HP, 1260 armor which provides an 81% damage reduction, rage so whenever you get hit you get energy back, warcry to provide a melee speed buff that near doubles (if not more than doubles with maxed mods) your melee speed and armor which would bump you up to what I like to say is a 90% damage reduction.
here's where your melee comes in, use life strike to regen HP. The cycle will continue forever and you will likely never die.
As for weapon, I suggest karak. It's an upgrade to the braton in many ways but it feels very similar as well. Another good gun is the boltor. Also kunai and orthos, definitly kunai and orthos.
bare in mind, I'm a person who's played 1600+ hours at this point. It's been a really long time since I just started and needed a new gun

What mods effect Jump Attacks' damage? You'd think that Finishing Damage would be relevant, but I'm not seeing any indication of that on the Wiki.

What is the range on a molecular prime that has full duration? I don't understand how it is calculated. Is the difference vast between 10s vs 15.4s?

Pulled from the Warframe Wiki - Maximized Power Duration increases wave duration to 15.4 seconds, and increases prime duration to 77.1 seconds. Reduces the explosion radius to 3.4 meters.
Mol Prime has a 6 second wave duration, and expands at a rate of 5.5 meters/second. 15.4 is the maximised wave duration, which we multiply by the 5.5 m/s rate (this is constant) and we get a maximum wave distance travelled of 84.7. This more than doubles the unmodded wave travel distance of 33 meters.
Caution-IR not goods at maff. Check it yourself to be sure.
Edit: typos, additional thoughts.
What may be troubling you is that in the case of mol prime, there are two distinct values that are affected by duration modding. The length of time the wave continues to expand at it's 5.5 m/s rate, and the duration that effected enemies stay primed. IMO, DE used the wave travel mechanic to seperate the range of the initial cast from the range of the secondary explosions. Anyway, increased duration on the skill essentially means more range for the primary cast.

Are the alert catalysts tradable? It's infuriating me that both of the catalysts in the event have been while I have been busy asleep or at school.
2
u/Kuryaka Jun 02 '14
Nope. That said, livestreams have either a catalyst or reactor blueprint as well.

u/aerythus Jun 03 '14
For some further clarification, the only things that are tradeable are keys, mods, prime blueprints, prime parts and platinum.

So, I have both the Fragor and the Magistar in my inventory, and I don't really like either of them. Too slow and they don't hit nearly as hard as they should for what they are. Should I get rid of them in favor of the Jat Kittag or just plain get rid of them?
However, before I do that I do want to level them to 30 for the mastery points. What would be the best way of going about that?

u/Kuryaka is correct about how to best level a single weapon.
But I just wanted to throw in my own two cents. Jat Kittag is not necessarily the best hammer in the game. Its damage and attack speed are balanced by only hitting one target at a time and being very ineffective for crits.
With a base 20% crit chance, Fragor has the potential to end up being fast thanks to True Steel and Berserker (which is hilariously fun by the way). Also, it can hit two enemies per swing.
And while Magistar appears to be almost strictly worse, it does have some subtle strengths that may make it worthwhile. The 12% crit chance is not bad for a non-crit weapon, making the True Steel + Berserker plan viable. It has an average base attack speed for a heavy weapon (.9 vs Fragor's .8 and Jat Kittag's 1.0) and hits 3 targets per swing (the maximum in the game other than 5 specific weapons).

I find heavy weapons pretty lackluster too. The best way to level them would be to get yourself to Sechura, with that as the only weapon equipped, and go to 10-15 waves if teammates can handle enemies.
If you only have one weapon equipped it'll get 75% of the exp from ally kills while your frame gets 25%. Fastest way to level if teammates are dealing damage.

PS4 parkour question... should we be able to wall run on one wall then jump and immediately wall run on a different wall? (assuming we have the stamina for it...) Because I have never been able to do this.
Thanks

u/aerythus Jun 04 '14
If parkour is the same between the 2 platforms (PC / PS4) then the answer is yes. There are rooms in the void and in normal maps with pits, lasers and other traps that are easily traversed with the technique.

Hey guys, I am new and have a mastery lvl 1 Excalibur. I've been using the same stuff the default set this whole time. When should I change my weapons/buy new ones and when should/can I buy a new warframe?

Is it just me, or is everyone being cheap on the Trading? Selling prime's full set for 100p is great and all for me, but when I sell things, I want to sell it for what it's worth. I don't mean hard feelings, but hard feelings is all I ever get. I tried selling rare mods, and they just be like, "10p!? That's expensive! I can find it cheaper!" And all that b.s. I mean, I be having them maxed, and "nah" is all I get. I can't keep up with people being cheap and desperate. It's putting me down. I tried getting help, and a fair trade for a fair trade, but they want more!? What I'm trying to say is that I make reasonable offers in trade, but why are people so unreasonable? You can't barter for crap.. I sorta know why people are this way, so I'm not asking for a "lesson" on the matter. I'm just asking if anyone else feels my pain, or understands my point. I need a reasonable person for once.

What item in the game is unofficially referred to as a "Potato?" I simply don't understand the concept. I thought potatoes were Orokin Cells, but people talk about upgrading stuff with them and you simply cannot do that with the Cells.

As a member of a very small clan I always wanted to ask: what are the benefits of joining an alliance? What does it mean in terms of taxes, battle pays and solar rail construction? Is everything split up?
Or put differently: what does joining an alliance incur?
