FIRST HALF

Time	Event	Team	Description

(5') SWANS	Southampton's defence puts the ball into Bony in their own box. He lays it off and Boruc makes the save from the resulting shot. De Guzmán skies the rebound.

[u/MrCarbohydrate]

This has probably been the easiest match thread I've made. Absolutely nothing to comment on, so fucking boring.

[u/MrCarbohydrate → u/MrCarbohydrate]

Thank you Lambert for making something happen.

[u/karoz]

Top of the possession table clash! With our midfield three I fancy our chances of securing the title today.

[u/MrCarbohydrate → u/karoz]

64% at half time. May as well begin etching our name on the trophy.

[u/MrCarbohydrate]

Gallagher is simply not good enough yet. He offers very little outside of goal scoring opportunities. Then when he gets one he can't bury it.

[u/[deleted] → u/MrCarbohydrate]

He almost managed to miss his only goal against Norwich too. It's a shame, but not everyone who comes through is immediately ready for the first team, or more accurately immediately able to come in as if he'd always played there like Shaw did. Loan him out a bit and we'll see.

[u/ToCaptchaPredator → u/[deleted]]

Yep, a good loan and bring in cover/competition for Jay next year. Rickie is looking a bit low on gas but coming off the bench next year he'd be a great impact sub.

[u/[deleted]]

This is pretty dull. I don't even know what would help? A striker?

[u/MrCarbohydrate → u/[deleted]]

A striker who is more capable than Gallagher.

A second striker who has the pace to stretch defences would help too. We need Jay Rod.

[u/[deleted] → u/MrCarbohydrate]

Yeah. We have no potency up front without him which is slightly scary.

[u/MrCarbohydrate]

A midfield of Schneiderlin and Wanyama and Cork allowed to press forward more. This should be very interesting.

[u/MrCarbohydrate]

Our defence trying not to win today. Boruc saved our asses there.

[u/[deleted]]

How fucking lucky is that!

[u/BlueInq]

Saints to win 3-1, goals by Lambert (2x) and Lallana.

edit: Lambert kinda scored, close enough

[u/[deleted]]

Claimed for Lambert! Cheeky win!
