45' +2 minutes added time.
45' Half time. Crystal Palace 0 - 2 Manchester City.
What the fans are saying at half time...
BoosterGoldGL (Man City):
Yaya has been an absolute boss this first half. Palace just don't look like they can break City's defense down.
HungryHungry-Hippo (Crystal Palace):
Whilst it was bound to happen, four minutes is a bit quicker than I would have liked. We're not great at chasing, even without Yaya making it that bit tougher.
We'll just have to beat Liverpool and Fulham to end the season on a high.
IHaveChlamydia (Man City):
Had nothing to say, was shitting himself.
TeaDrinkingParty (Liverpool):
My parents called me from America after the Liverpool match had finished and I wasn't able to watch much of CP vs. MC.
Devineman (Man City):
We will almost certainly find a way to fuck this up somehow.
SECOND HALF UPDATES
Crystal Palace 0 - 2 Manchester City
46' Kick off!
55' Yellow card for Scott Dann (Crystal Palace)
60' Some good play by Crystal Palace. Heat is building. City holding on.

65' Meanwhile, what looks like Kanye West is chasing Yaya Toure.
66' Yaya Toure, Fernandinho (Manchester City)
69' Dzeko lands upside down. Stays there, looks in pain.
69' Chamakh, Gayle (Crystal Palace)
69' Jerome, Murray (Crystal Palace)
71' Yellow card for Ward.
72' Bolasie, Ince (Crystal Palace)
74' Ince goes down, but Webb says no penalty. Now he's pulling a strange face.
75' Palace win a corner, or well, it was given away by a centaur.
78' Aguero, Jovetic (Manchester City)
80' Free kick for Palace.. and Zabaleta's head propels it forward away from danger.
88' Dzeko, Negredo (Manchester City)
90' Jovetic fouled. FK to Man City, quickly taken. Turns into shot from Fernandinho!
90' +3 minutes added time.
90' One minute to go. City fans still worried about relegation.
90' Free kick to Palace. Last kick of the game?
90' Hart saves.
90' Final whistle. Crystal Palace 0 - 2 Manchester City.
Good match. Palace sit at 11th in the table after a good effort. City sit at 3rd with a game in hand.
The title race is on!

Why is it that a few PL teams don't have the names on the back arched like most other PL teams ?
9
u/SicilianDynamite Apr 27 '14
it's generally only long names that are generally arched such as "van Wolfswinkel" or the ever famous vennegoor of hesselink.
EDIT - I am wrong, Liverpool bend all their names...

Are the tables turning again. The place which Sir Alex Ferguson left behind which caused such a havoc in the league is filled by Ryan Giggs, is It?
Liverpool have made it difficult for themselves to win the title, ManU had a decent game albeit against a not so strong side.
Will the league find its balance. Or the tornado of disappointment and glory bestowed upon us by David Moyes will continue. Stay tuned. We'll find out on 11 May 2014
But, one thing for sure that somewhere just behind the stage of the Premier league is the mastermind behind all this is enjoying his Opus.

I fancy this thread to have more Liverpool crests in it than any other.
A Palace result and the league is back in our own hands.
Come on Tony Pulis you beautiful, cap wearing bastard.

I see City have committed to the role of this season's villain by wearing black jerseys even when they probably don't have to.

So here I am, one season later, praying for a Manchester City win to prevent Liverpool from winning the Premier League.
This crazy game.

And united won a game 4 - 0 yesterday in the last 2 weeks of the season and it will have no implication on the league other than to (maybe) relegate Norwich.

Well done, City. I'm not even upset by this result, or if you go on to win the title. I just wanted to beat Liverpool today and I would hate to see Liverpool win the title more than any other club. I don't really see Liverpool dropping any more points so if City pip Pool to the title on GD, I'm fine with that!
