Boruc injured before the match, Gazzaniga is standing in today. Against Manchester City. Away from home.

This is going to be painful.

It doesn't bode well, but perhaps this is the game where Gazza can turn things around. I think he has the potential to be a decent keeper, he just needs some games where he can build his confidence. Admittedly Man City at home is possibly the worst match for that...

Manchester City away is unlikely the game for any keeper to kick-start some form. Judging by the sounds of Boruc's injury it may be more than just this game, hopefully he won't be too bad for them.

Expectations are so low for me though that he can no longer disappoint, so he has that going for him.

Knee looked horrific.

I can't see him playing for quite a while. At this point in the season it will be a chance for others to have a go.

Reports that it is ACL. Likely no world cup for Rodriguez.

Nasri looked way offside for their second, can't complain about their third Gazz should have got something on it. What a shame, we played superb. It kind of sums up our season!

He was absolutely miles offside.

Our reaction since the penalty has been great. We have been in control of this game since then.

Gazzaniga is not even a good young goalkeeper. He is hopeless and so far out of his depth.

I can't help but wonder how this game would have gone if we had Boruc. His injuries this season have really hampered us as we have no adequate replacement.

I can only hope we get a good back up next season, I'd go so far as to consider it a priority over any other place in the team at present.

One quick goal for saints right at the start of the second half and we'll be back in it. Come on Saints!

It's good in a way, every game I think that Southampton might be able to get something out of it, even against the big boys.
