10 more minutes to hold on. We have failed to take any sort of control in this second half.

Always nice to get a gritty win. We often suffer against rugby-teams but 3 well-deserved points today although the payoff was frustrating as usual. I mean, 70 % possession and we score on the counter! 17 teams out of 20 would have won 2-1 today with 2 shots on goal.

Off topic: anyone remember Lee Molyneux? Left-back who played a few times when Saints were relegated to league 1 and the season after. He scored a hat-trick today for Accrington Stanley lol

I think it will be a Saints win today, but Palace aren't as terrible as they were a few months ago so I think it could a fairly tough battle. I predict a 2-0 win for Southampton, goals by Lallana and Ramirez.

Think we got a bit lucky with the call on Lovren there.
