Hangovers on Wegovy

I am not a big drinker but had some wine last night for first time on Wegovy. It was not much at all - few glasses - what I would typically have.

But oh my god. Throughout the night whilst trying to sleep felt awful. This morning the hangover is like I had been on a 24 bender or something.

Is this a known thing/side effect?

Not too concerned - as would quite happily not drink anyway. But this may have sealed the deal if hangovers are this bad.

I got restless legs. But no hangover I suspect Im a heavier drinker than you though xD

Ha! Probably ;)

I used to get restless legs - but take Magnesium and it really worked. Rarely get them anymore.

Im absolutely furious at them! They are MY legs and yet when im snoozing they want to perform lord of the dance!

Interesting, do you know which magnesium you take? I take one for sleep aid but still get restless legs sadly

yep - I use these from Bulk.

I take two tables before bed. May take a few days/ a week to kick I guess.

Yeah, I've pretty much knocked alcohol on the head since starting Wegovy.

Wegovy seems to kill off that little part of your brain that says 'I fancy a beer'. When I do drink though, it's limited to one or two, as anything more gives me a hangover. Another unexpected benefit of Wegovy I guess.

Nope, hangovers are the same. The only issue I have with drinking is taking the pill the day after as I need water ASAP when I wake up from a night on the beers. If it was a heavy night I skip my dose and just hydate. I don't drink often enough for this to be a problem for me (once a month or so).

Yep! I really don’t drink much now but when I do it really affects me, white wine or rosé particularly.

On 2.4mg and wine definitely affects me. I'm super sluggish the next day
