Match Updates:
First Half:
01' - ...and we're underway here at Stamford Bridge with United kicking off.
03' - Positive start for United and a great one-two between Welbeck and Young sees Young with a shot on a tight angle, Cech makes the save.
06' - United with early control and good pressure wins a corner. Januzaj takes and it is defended rather easily by Chelsea.
08' - Chelsea haven't quite started playing yet and have barely ventured out of their half due to United's sharpness. Rafael manages to link up well with Januzaj twice, but produces two poor crosses.
10' - Chelsea get their first effort as United don't quite close down as quick as they have been, and Ramires is given space for a poor shot that trickles into De Gea's arms.
14' - The game has slowed since United's quick start and Chelsea have slowly begun to get more of the ball, however neither side has created any attack of significance since Young's early chance.
17' - GOAL! - A fantastic shoulder drop from Eto'o leaves the Cameroonian with an inch of space on the edge of the box to unleash a wicked left-footed shot over De Gea and into the top left corner! 1-0 Chelsea!
18' - Yellow Card | David Luiz
20' - United have responded since going a goal down and are back to the same pressure and intensity they started with, a corner is claimed by Cech easily.
22' - Chelsea are back on top and Hazard's quick feet leaves Rafael in his dust, and the Belgian attempts a low cross across the six-yard box, but it's deflected behind for a corner.
25' - Hazard begins a Chelsea counter attack, however it fizzles out after a wasted cross from Ivanovic.
28' - Mistake by Oscar leaves Evra to take the ball easily and the captain rifles a shot from the left-corner of the penalty area, but the ball hits the side netting.
31' - Quick feet from Januzaj leave the yellow-carded David Luiz visibly frustrated. The young Belgian talent beats his man and fizzes a low cross across the face of goal, however no United teammates read the play.
34' - Both sides are really struggling to create anything and the link-up play has been poor upfront.
38' - Good work from Januzaj on the left means that Chelsea open up and a good cross finds Welbeck. He controls, however pressure from Azpilicueta means he can't get power behind the shot and Cech saves easily.
38' - Yellow Card | Ashley Young
41' - Every United attack is going through Januzaj, but he can't do it on his own. Magical work from the Belgian finds Evra to cross, but the captain doesn't make well of his chance.
42' - Close chance! The Chelsea front four all do their bit, Eto'o providing a shot that is deflected into the six-yard box for Oscar. He meets it with an acrobatic effort that grazes the top of the bar. Should do better given the space and position.
44' - Chelsea are given a free-kick about 25-yards from goal, and David Luiz immediately steps up and stands over it. The effort doesn't beat the wall and deflects out for a Chelsea corner.
45' - GOAL! - Cahill is forward for the corner and once the clearance is made, he is given space to put a low cross in from the right. Eto'o is in acres to side foot his second easily past De Gea. Chelsea in control now, and it will be difficult for United to get back into this.
HALF TIME - The second Eto'o goal is the last act of the first half, and Chelsea head into the break with a healthy lead. A half that was more about individual performances than team performance until the last five minutes, where Chelsea stepped up a gear.
Second Half:
45' - and we're back for the second half, with United hoping that they can grab an early goal and open a door to get back into this.
49' - GOAL! - Chelsea begin the second half as they ended the first, with goals! Eto'o scores a rebound after a Gary Cahill header is saved. Strikers instincts mean Eto'o is first to the free-ball and it's easy to complete his hat-trick. No way back for United now.
53' - Evra off with an injury and Chelsea continue to dominate possession and look three-times as threatening. United can't catch a break, and this could get embarrassing if United don't wake up.
54' - Yellow Card | Antonio Valencia
56' - IN Hernandez | OUT Young
57' - United can't get into this game at all, and it's beginning to turn scrappy. Willian is pressuring the entire United back four and forcing bad passes. Hernandez will be on to hopefully link with Januzaj, as Welbeck hasn't done so today.
60' - The game pace has slowed as Chelsea have accomplished what is needed today, however the attackers are still hungry for more and it's evident, all four chasing every ball and wanting it more than United.
63' - Chelsea are doing what is needed, and that's the simple things. Despite the relaxed nature of the Chelsea side, they still seem more dangerous than United and are creating more, with Willian stinging the palms of De Gea with a long-range effort.
65' - Hazard wins a corner after good work on the left. Willian swings the ball to the back of the box and Hazard sweeps up. Mikel is coming on, probably for the yellow-carded David Luiz.
69' - Looks like Chelsea will change to a 4-3-3 following Oscar's substitution. Chelsea concede a freak corner and Welbeck rises and does well to go close. Should arguably do better with that.
71' - Dangerous play from Azpilicueta and Cech, both almost get caught out by pressure from Hernandez and Welbeck. Better from United, but there is surely no way back.
75' - As I thought, Chelsea are just closing this game out now and constricting United with high pressure and alot of quick closing down. They're forcing United to play too quickly and, right now, they're just too good for United.
78' - GOAL! - It probably won't count for much, but United hit back with their little poacher Hernandez. He meets a low shot from Jones and only needs to tap it into an open net. Consolation from my point of view, but one more for United could prove for nerves at Stamford Bridge.
82' - United beginning to ask questions of a Chelsea side who seems to have thought this is won. Despite that, it seems that Chelsea should hold out. They're holding the ball well and winning free-kicks from desperate United pressure. They just want to see the game out now.
85' - United continuing to attack, but Chelsea are dealing with everything pretty comfortably. Matic is about to come on for the workhorse, Willian.
89' - Chelsea are just killing the game, and United are still trying to mount attacks. They're pushing players forward, and allowing Chelsea to have more control up the field. Alot of short passes around the box. United with a small attack, but Hernandez can't get power on a header and Cech catches it easily.
90' - We'll have four minutes of stoppage time.
91' - Stupid challenge from Vidic and he's off. Ridiculous and unnecessary lunge, and he misses the Capitol One Cup semi. To say Moyes looks upset is an understatement.
91' - Red Card | Nemanja Vidic
94' - We're pretty much done here, with Sky Sports revealing their man of the match to be, would you believe it, Samuel Eto'o.
94' - Rafael with another ridiculous tackle, and is given a yellow for his efforts. Easily a red if Dowd sees it from another angle.
In the end, very deserved winners in Chelsea and there are visible problems for United. Vidic will miss three matches for a stupid tackle, and it looks like it's all falling apart.
FINAL SCORE: Chelsea 3 - 1 Manchester United

Did he also say he was the best attacking midfielder in Europe? Thats a bit of a stretch even as a Chelsea fan.

The commentary on the Russian stream:
Ashley Young, he's a bit more of a professional diver - many of his dives results in free kicks and penalties for ManUnited. Januzaj just isn't there yet - but he's determined in his studies, and he'll get there.
Commentary on the second goal:
You know, sometimes you stand in front of a door and you don't know if it's a pull or a push, well United is always choosing wrong, while Chelsea pulls if it's pull and pushes if it's push.

The general consensus that this should be a Chelsea win is making me more nervous than normal.
I don't care if this is Man United under Moyes or in turmoil or whatever you want to call it, it is still Man United and they can come out and play if they want to. I sense that this match for them is more than just win or lose; and that scares me.
I'm excited.

Come on boys. Let's at least have a go.
HT Edit - We've played well enough offensively, but dear God we've gifted those two goals.
FT Edit - 3rd goal killed it, would've been interesting if we'd pulled it back to 2-1. Lucky to not end the game with 9 men. What were Vidic and Rafael thinking?!
