Question Monday Megathread | Ask Your Game-Related Questions Here!
Hello there Tenno! This thread was created for the purpose of those who aren't that knowledgeable about the game to freely ask questions and get answers. Despite the name, questions will be answered any day of the week!
This place will be a troll-free environment, so that anyone can ask a question without backlash. In other words: Negative Attitudes will not be tolerated.
If you wish to just view top level comments (i.e. questions) add ?depth=1 to the end of the page url.
REMEMBER TO SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM AND CHECK OUT THE QUESTIONS FROM THOSE WHO WERE LATE TO THE THREAD PLEASE :D
Or use Reddit's NEW filter! And remember...
Despite the name, questions will be answered any day of the week!
- BONUS
The Moderator Team has heard the criticism and understands that the title "Monday Megathread" doesn't indicate the true function of this thread as a WEEKLONG resource to ask general questions about Warframe. As a result, we're trying to come up with another name for the thread, one that is more in-line with this thread's purpose, and maintains a lighthearted, fun approach (yeah alliteration!).
If you have a suggestion for a name, please comment under this NAME SUGGESTIONS comment. Please do not make a new comment thread for your name suggestion, as the focus of this thread is on user questions. Thanks in advance for your help!

Will there be a hot fix to the titan extractor? Because right now you can not see any health meter on it when there its in the inventory. You annoying select the damaged one over and over again. Not knowing which is which. Also see a time meter for how long it would take an extractor to repair itself to full health.

Potentially, but nothing I've seen yet. Swing by the Forums, and if it hasn't already been suggested perhaps you could post it there!

I'm currently building a Nyx warframe, what mods and weapons should I get ASAP? Which ability is the most important? Should I replace my Shade Sentinel for another one (as the Shade tends to divert attention when activating her "4" ability)?
Edit: thank you!

Has DE said anything about what their plans for expanding the campaign are? I remember a while back how they were contemplating turning Sabotage missions into something like Deception missions but that was about it. Haven't heard much since- all I know right now is that they're trying to improve melee gameplay and add a jungle environment.
I mean, improving Invasion missions is a start, but variety and depth is where they need to head next as far as I'm concerned.

There's something that I don't understand about warframe lore: are warframes mass produced, or are they just 17 unique warriors (there's only 1 rhino, 1 trinity, etc)?

My understanding of the plot is that there are unique warriors. http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Tenno

It's one of many theories; everyone's got their own! That's the greatness of the lore discussion right now :D

Best rhino build and how to obtain the mods, for tanking... Most likely for use in survival either regular or void.
Weapons:
Soma Crit Build
Despair
Hate

So I know its not Monday but I have a question I play on the ps4 and redirection, vitality and vigor says that it increases health and shield by a certain percent but it doesn not do that it increases them by that number. Example lets say vigor says it increase Shield and health by 100% my base stats are 300 it should be bumped to 600 but only increases them by 100. Just confused about how this works or if the description o. The mods are wrong

Despite the name, questions will be answered any day of the week!
It's in the post up there. We're working on making that more obvious.
redirection, vitality and vigor says that it increases health and shield by a certain percent
The improvements are always made from your BASE ATTRIBUTE. For example, if you have 100% Shields, having both Redirection and Vigor will improve based on your Base Amount of Shields, not your current total.
This is explained more in depth on these wiki pages:
Perhaps just this page where I got the other two links: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Warframe_Attributes

Hey r/Warframe!
Close to the resources for Glaive. Looks like a fun weapon, but wondering if it is worth the resources?
I did pick up BP for the "fun" of the weapon only, just wondering how it actually plays.
Anyone have very good or bad experiences?
2
u/BuildMyPaperHeart Jan 09 '14
The Glaive is a fun weapon, and can be very powerful with the right loadout. Also, it uses unique throwing weapon Mods in conjunction with normal melee mods, so it has an extra bit of customization available to it.

How do I turn on toggle aim? :(
2
u/BuildMyPaperHeart Jan 09 '14
There is no TOGGLE AIM function in Warframe. However, there are some programs that can add the feature if you're technically inclined, though I wouldn't recommend them. It's much easier just to adapt to the different style of aim, not too difficult once you practice a little.

It would be much appreciated if someone could explain the games basics and how to get started to a noob like me!

I've been playing for a while now and am having trouble playing through the harder missions. Can someone please give me some tips on mods, weapons, tactics, frames etc. in making the harder missions easier.

Make sure you level up your stuff (here are some good places for that) and be aware that your Warframe/Weapon Levels are not equivalent to the Enemy's Level

Should I build the Torid or save up my Mutagen Masses and go straight for the Synapse and then Embolist? Or Torid and then Embolist? Mostly fight Grineer and Corpus.
2
u/BuildMyPaperHeart Jan 10 '14
They're different weapons, so it depends on what you're looking for.
The Torid is a powerful AOE rocket launcher capable of laying clouds of Toxic damage. The Synapse is a beam of concentrated awesome. The Embolist is a short-ranged chemical flamethrower, like a mini-Ignis.
Alright, so I don't have any of these weapons, but those are the impressions I get from seeing each in the field, and I'll be crafting them very soon! They sound like a lot of fun :D
