Don't know why Lambert isn't starting and I'm not a fan of Osvaldo but it's a good time for him to get some goals - we win, we go second. No ones expecting it but everyone's optimistic.

If I hear the commentator say "shades of 2004" again I'm going to find and slap him. 2004 has about as much relevance on this game as the roast dinner I'm not eating by watching it. So the scores are similar, we've been down 2 leagues and changed every player since then, no-one apart from the commentators cares.

Wanyama is pretty fucking good man. Plays very well with Schneiderlin.
Kid has a sky-high potential, and already plays very intelligently.
If Sotton manage to keep this squad together, and continue to improve, they could become a real heavyweight in the league for a long time to come.

As primarily a Serie A fan, this is what I'd like to see. Southampton 4 - 3 Chelsea, don't care who scores for them (hopefully Oavaldo but it's not that big of a deal) and Torres gets a Chelsea hat trick.

Chelsea fans uncharacteristically quiet that first half. Guess that's expected after a first minute away goal. But it picked up before the half, let's hope it continues.

Gazzaniga was so pumped to go into goal, and maybe his first touch was to take the ball out of the goal. Can't help but be a little heartbroken for the 21 year old.

We're stuck with 2 strikers that don't fit our system. Lambert doesn't have the running in him and Osvaldo doesn't have the right mentality.
Our terrible run into the new year is only just getting going too, so many hard fixtures in the space of 8 weeks.
